You will be a part of EA's Customer Experience (CE) organization. CE strives to make EA known for taking care of its players. We're players taking care of players and people talking to people – whenever, wherever, and however they need us.

You will help build the technology and new ideas that make it possible for EA Customer Experience to provide unique player experiences. You will work with the IT group responsible for engineering and development and with partner groups within CE and EA. You will provide a streamlined, end-to-end support solution for both game teams and players through the systems you own. As an Associate System Owner, you will oversee each system's backlog, manage large-scale system updates and be an expert for the products associated with your systems. You will report to the Manager of Systems and UAT.

So how does the Associate System Owner make great experiences for players? You show: Expertise
• Represent the business to our users, development, and partner teams
• Be an expert for your assigned system(s). Look for ways to support those who work with our products
• Use data and BI during the planning, prioritization and validation phases to shape your decisions Relationship Management
• Help our partner teams understand the system backlog, sprint prioritization process and schedules
• You'll work with partner teams to address their needs and help prioritize tickets
• Succeed in both push and pull scenarios. Know how to source what you need, even if you have to go get it
• You can jump in to emerging issues with hazy ownership or details and help connect the right people and solutions Product Ownership
• Maintain and align communications around the systems roadmap
• Represent the business. Help others understand how we balance business and user needs
• Prioritize and prepare system tickets along with their impact to the business
• Understand upcoming product work. Engage product teams to serve as an expert on systems they will work with
• Get involved during ideation, design, and testing & learn phases. Map out lessons learned, technical requirements, and other valuable information for product teams Operational Knowledge
• Listen to our users to understand how they use tools and systems
• Find and address product risks once in the production environment
• Maintain leadership level reporting on important production outages, while partnering with the incident management and IT teams in mitigation and resolution strategies Release Management
• Ensure documentation on sprint schedules, reporting and associated variances are maintained and up-to-date
• Manage the sprint release notes creation and distribution
• Work with QA and UAT to ensure testing preparedness, documentation and reporting for your system
• Maintain accurate and consistent documentation, aimed at ensuring knowledge is not siloed or limited to one person or group If you're interested, you'll need these skills or experiences: Required:
• Roadmap and Backlog Management
• Agile software development
• Maintain proper documentation and ticket hygiene
• Stakeholder management
• And one of the following three:
• 1+ years of experience as a system/product owner or product admin
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business
• A related degree with 1+ years of experience working in a team with a product owner

Bonus Skills:
• Customer Success Management

• Tableau - Basic navigation and understanding of report data to support your work
• Experience in Cloud, CRM, CSM, Mobile, Web
• Experience with Customer Service, Video Games
• JIRA - Navigation, JQL, Backlog and Ticket management Work Model:

You will be fully working-from-home during the duration of our site closures. Once we reopen our work sites, you will choose from being in office to working at home. Please note, a full work from home model requires you to relocate to within 50 miles of either the Galway, IE or Austin, TX sites and attendance of limited on-site meetings.
