Associate Product Manager - Content Tools (Contract)

Associate Product Manager - Content Tools (Contract)

At our core, Electronic Arts is a game maker that connects hundreds of millions of players from around the globe to some of the world's greatest games. The EAX team is driving the strategy and implementation of important programs for EA's community of players to connect them to one another and to the games they love to play. These programs span the digital touchpoints where players engage with EA, including EA's gaming service on PC through Origin and the new EA Desktop application; the EA Play subscription program on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam; EA.com's corporate, marketing and player engagement activations, and a host of other consumer experiences and strategies to connect players across platforms and within our games.

EAX is looking for an Associate Product Manager to join our Data and Content Delivery group to manage the backlog for the scrum team responsible for EA-internal content/data management tools and services. As an Associate Product Manager you will report into a Senior Product Manager to help lead a team that develops tools and services used to publish games and webpages to EA.com, Origin, and EA Desktop. Your role is to clear the path for efficient content and data delivery by turning direct input from your users and partners into well-articulated product requirements, and by providing your scrum team with the clear prioritization and context that helps them to build quality solutions as part of a cohesive Data and Content Delivery strategy.

Responsibilities:
• Transform strategic guidance from the leadership team into concrete projects and deliverables
• Manage the priority and scheduling of the projects and requests in the scrum backlog
• Engage with partners and users to understand and determine their desires and needs
• Work with engineers, design, and QA teammates to come up with solutions to problems
• Clarify and translate partner desires and needs into development requirements
• Break down large requests into smaller units of work as needed
• Review delivered work against defined requirements and schedules
• Determine user satisfaction and propose improvements to internal tools and services

Qualifications:
• 1 or more years experience as a Product or Program Manager or equivalent
• Strong writing and speaking skills, able to communicate well with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Organized, thorough, and attentive to detail

Desirable Experience:
• Content management systems, publishing software, or data entry workflows
• Digital operations, e-commerce, big data, or web publishing
• Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence)
• Agile/Scrum
