Job Description

Position: Manager of Programming & Operations - Electric Now

Electric Entertainment, a full-service film, television, post-production and sales company, is seeking an experienced Manager of Programming & Operations to manage all aspects of ElectricNOW, Electric Entertainment’s OTT service available as a streaming platform, a FAST live channel, and an on-demand app, as it moves from beta to a full-fledged launch. This is a full-time permanent position.

Duties:

• Managing the FAST channel, streaming platform and on-demand app, “Electric Now”
• Serve as main point of contact for all issues relating to site operations, tech issues and programming
• Main point of contact with: Streaming channels, including IMDBtv, Roku Channel, Sling and Xumo; Smart TV companies; Hardware device companies (Apple TV, Firetv, Roku)
• Maintaining Content Management System and uploading materials for AVOD, TVOD, and Linear Broadcast.
• Managing relationship with delivery vendor, OTTera.
• Onboarding Electric Now with new platforms
• Troubleshooting all tech issues
• Adjusting programming as needed for stunts and events
• Ingesting and running quality assurance for all acquired TV series, video podcasts, and movies
• Generating SRT/SCC captions
• Delivering marketing materials to platforms
• Creating and maintaining a fluid programming grid of available titles
• Analyzing daypart reporting and discussing with Electric management

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum two years working in the OTT space
• Basic familiarity with Amazon Web Services S3 Bucket System, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Tracking and Reporting and Analytics
• Familiarity with Adobe Encoder, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe Photoshop
• Basic understanding of different codecs and file format
• Must have very strong attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills, including investigating and resolving open issues as needed
