Responsibilities

E! News is seeking a dynamic and creative VP, Digital Strategy & Partnerships who will be responsible for managing KPIs, developing off-platform partnerships and driving growth of our brand across every E! News digital platform. The VP will oversee Partnerships & Programming, Audience Development & Monetization, E-commerce and New Media. Reporting into the EVP, Editor-in-Chief, this candidate will lead the effort in creating concepts, developing strategies and building relationships to generate high-performing video programs/channels/posts/stories/articles/shows to grow audience, loyalty, and fandom.

Responsibilities
• Strategically brainstorm ideas for growing retention and organic viewership.
• Analyze pre-existing content, current approach, and programming slate, determine winning strategy and driving execution to grow new audience and encourage repeated visits through engagement and affinity as well as build new revenue streams
• Stay up to date on industry trends, analyze competitors and formats with ability to react quickly and adapt strategy
• Work in partnership with department heads and producers to guide formats, create highly shareable content that drives O&O audience growth and assist as needed
• Provide thoughtful POV on strategy for posting videos to Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, other digital platforms and driving visits to EOL with oversight of daily engagement across channels/site
• Work with social and editorial teams on cross promotion distribution strategy and implementation
• Guide traffic analysis and contribute future coverage plans based on data insights and user engagement
• Work with audience development on strategy for paid traffic optimizing earned views and subscribers
• Moderate community to drive loyalty on digital platforms
• Manage video distribution efforts across digital platforms
• Work closely with Ad Sales on monetization opportunities for originals in the current marketplace and generate scale

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of progressive experience in digital strategy
• Experience transferring creative ideas into successful audience growth on social platforms
• Big-picture strategist, with the ability to seamlessly execute on vision
• Proven ability to drive revenue streams and growth on each platform
• Has experience driving social media and content strategy within the voice of the brand
• Strong video editorial background
• Inspirational leader: ability to lead teams to pivot quickly through the dynamic digital environment
• Strong knowledge of SEO and algorithm
• Ability to grow originals without known IP
• Ability to connect trends and influencers with E! News brand
• Strong understanding of social media measurement and how to tie results back to client and business goals
• Experience scaling e-commerce or social initiatives
