Responsibilities
Job Duties
• Works with Editorial & Production to online Editorial's cut with uncompressed footage imported from the show's production tree
• Create temp versions of shots (as needed)
• Ensure the edit is frame accurate and in sync with the supplied audio
• Composite subtitles, create marketing spots and edit sequences for award shows and other special presentations

Qualifications/Requirements
• Experience with Autodesk FLAME, AVID Media Composer and Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Photoshop,Encoder) and know how to get them to work together
• Working knowledge of HDCam-SR tape machines and their menu system
• Knowledge of digital file formats (DPX, EXR, H264, QT, DNxHD, ProRes)
• Able to multitask and handle projects under tight deadlines, at time same day delivery of files
• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to take direction and work with others as a team (Assistant Editors, Producers, Directors, etc) as they are sitting in the room for review
• Must have some technical expertise and have an ability to troubleshoot some basic software and hardware issues
• Editors Guild Membership required
• Detail-oriented
• Must be willing to work in Glendale, CA
• Must be able to provide a reel/portfolio of work examples -- if available, include a web address when you submit your resume
• Animation experience helpful but not essential
