DreamWorks Animation has an immediate opening for an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide day-to-day administrative support for the Contract Administration Team for Features & Television in our Business & Legal Affairs Department.

Responsibilities: ''What would you say you do here?''
• Handles various administrative functions including but not limited to: Scheduling meetings, maintaining status charts, preparing & distributing reports, word processing, photocopying, scanning and distributing documents, maintaining and coordinating files and documents (both electronic and paper), using DWA's legal database and filing systems
• Preparing correspondences and initiating & routing payment requests for review and approval
• Interacts with external contacts, including agencies, law firms, management companies and other studios
• Coordinating with internal teams such as Development, Production, IT, Human Resources and Accounting as needed in support of the contract tracking & payment process.
Qualifications/Requirements

Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail are critical.
Highly proficient in Word, Excel, Google Docs and Gmail.
Strong communication skills and ability to maintain a positive demeanor while being proactive, resourceful, flexible and well-organized.
A professional demeanor with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
This position is part of a team and candidates need a cooperative work style and should be prepared to multi-task and cover additional duties as needed.
Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.

Desired Characteristics
Desired Qualifications: ''What can I offer?''
2-5 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, preferably in a Business Affairs, Legal or Production environment.
Candidates should become comfortable with technology and the internet and be willing to learn new software.
Bachelor Degree preferred.
