DKC is looking for an Account Coordinator to join our Sports team in New York. We are looking for someone with energy and enthusiasm, strong relationship-building skills, and an ability to work effectively across all departments in the agency. Now about the position
The DKC Sports team is positioned at the epicenter of sports, media, and technology and is a trusted partner for iconic brands and startups, innovative sports tech companies, leagues, franchises, media properties, venues, executives, coaches, athletes, and global events. We manage many of the most prestigious and lucrative sports sponsorships, conceptualizing and activating compelling programs to create added-value PR that brings these strategic partnerships to life. Our current clients include: Formula 1, Manchester City, Sports Illustrated, Meta, UBS, Candy Digital, Big East Conference, SMAC Entertainment among others. We pride ourselves as an eclectic team that can also bring impactful strategy outside of sports for clients such as documentarian Ken Burns and The Nobel Peace Prize.

What we are looking for:
• Passion for and interest in the public relations industry sports business, media, and technology
• BA or defined education in marketing, PR, communications, journalism, or a related concentration
• Strict attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines
• Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and actively communicate progress and deliverables to account teams
• Responsive and proactive on timely and priority campaigns and/or tasks
• Proficient in online social applications i.e. Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, Excel, etc.
• You have a 'make it happen' attitude – someone who is scrappy, creative, asks questions, provides status updates, and speaks to performance around key results
