Job Description
The Global Content Operations team (GCO) is responsible for the end-to-end workstreams of Originals, Currents, Acquisitions, Library and Marketing assets, ensuring the proper delivery and integrity from the creators' hand-off to the ingestion and validation on Disney+ & Star+, creating efficiency and seamless workflows across the entire content supply chain.

The Title Management team within GCO works with many stakeholders in and outside of the company and oversees workflows and data management related to rights and clearances, first availability windows, content configuration, component ordering, component delivery, ingestion, and validation for both Disney+ and Star/Star+, globally.

We are seeking an experienced, collaborative, and enthusiastic person for the position of Senior Manager, Order Management. Reporting to the Senior Director, Title Management in Glendale, you will oversee a team that is responsible for AV, artwork, and metadata component ordering for all Disney+ and Star+ titles. You will work closely with Programming, Title Planning, and Studio Operations teams to ensure the intent of each title by deadline date and territory is accurately ordered through the various upstream systems which enables other workflows against asset delivery and title readiness deadlines. Your role will also focus on streamlining systems, processes, and workflows for monthly net-new titles, regional product launches, and scalability.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project management and execution. You will have a keen eye for detail, possess exceptional organizational skills, and have a deep knowledge of Audio/Video component ordering and data configuration with a focus on meeting deadlines. You will be highly detail-oriented, have exceptional communication skills and be consistently motivated to solve the challenges that come with launching content on a global platform. You're passionate, driven, and forward-thinking regarding streamlining content operations processes, taking into consideration internal and external team requirements and SLAs.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who is comfortable leading high-profile projects in a fast-paced environment and can effectively collaborate and communicate at all levels of the organization, including Senior (VP-level) Product and Technology leaders at the Company.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Programming and Title Planning on workflow, timelines, and requirements per title, keeping each team accountable for their details to maintain the accuracy of net-new assets ordered
• Manage A/V, artwork and metadata component orders in a timely manner, understanding quick turnarounds and tight deadlines
• Maintain component ordering status updates and date changes to Programming and Title Planning so they are aware of any update, shifts, or risk associated with title launch
• Manage communication of title expectations across functional teams for downstream workflow needs
• Evaluate, select, implement and continually improve an effective title ordering system
• Be the bridge between the Product experience and our Creative teams, clearly articulating what the product can and cannot do when it comes to language components and versioning
• Liaise with various stakeholders to develop and uphold service level agreements across multiple teams
• Identify common issues to resolve in planning of titles month over month
• Maintains effectiveness during rapidly changing assignments or priorities
• Document, troubleshoot and escalate issues - ultimately driving to resolution through collaboration of internal or external partners
• Partner with team members to analyze and evaluate workflows and recommend operational enhancements to improve efficiency

What does success look like?
In success, you will have overseen a team to ensure they ordered assets on time and without error, every time. You will have consistently ordered all net-new Disney+ and Star+ titles for both new territory launches and ongoing sustainment within the standard service level agreements set forth by all parties. You will have established highly collaborative relationships with the Programming and Studio Operations group and partnered effectively with multiple product and technology teams to ensure we transform the operations and invest for improved automation and scalability, in support of our global growth ambitions for Disney+ and Star+.

Basic Qualifications:
• 5-7 years of experience managing orders for A/V, artwork and metadata components in a Media & Entertainment line of business, preferably with a content streaming platform
• Strong project management experience and the ability to juggle multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of project management and collaboration tools such as Slack, Smartsheets, Confluence, JIRA, Lucidchart and Airtable
• Intermediate data analysis and Excel proficiency
• Experience launching a product globally, with multiple languages and asset types
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and a willingness to pivot as needed
• A collaborative spirit, especially as an expert at getting things done, all with a positive attitude
• Strategic thinking and the ability to focus on long-term scalability and growth of the business
• Ability to dissect workflows and make tool recommendations that lead to more efficient and effective processes
• Clear written and verbal communication and the ability to command a room
• Thorough understanding of data security best practices a plus
• BA/BS or equivalent experience required
