Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Data Analyst will provide support for the development of reports in the Studio Operations Planning application. Working under the supervision of the Manager, this role will collaborate with the Content Planning teams to design, develop and deploy reports and tools to inform and support executives, decisions makers and operators across the supply chain
• Understanding client requirements in regard to business intelligence, reporting and analytics
• Translate business requirements for the BI platform into technical requirements for the technology teams
• Develop custom reports, dashboards and analytics to support the analyses and visualization of complex data sets
• Develop self-service reports to support decision-making and conflict management
• Provide recommendations to evolve the data aggregation strategy
• Provide recommendations to evolve the planning and supply chain analytics model that drive the capture and analysis of supply chain KPI's established by the Studio Operations teams
• Draft and produce training documentation and videos for the report module in the Planning Application
• Assist in the deployment and user acceptance and training for the Planning Application

Experience/Education/Characteristics:
• 1 - 3 years of experience as a Senior Data Analyst with experience in supply chain analysis
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with any common BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Databricks is a plus
• Proficiency in manipulating datasets with Python (common Python libraries) or SQL
• Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and relational database platform knowledge
• Knowledge of statistical models, machine learning and related techniques
• Ability to lead projects independently from start to finish, working with internal and external teams to make decisions and maintain momentum
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Proven track record in meeting aggressive deadlines.
• Previous experience with a major media company (film/TV/digital) a plus
• Ability to influence others with the story of what you're seeing in the data to make business improvements.
• A lifelong learner with innate curiosity

The hiring range for this position in California is $78,396 to $101,553 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
