Job Description
As part of the Product Marketing Operations & Tech team, the Operations Performance Manager- QA systems is responsible for validating all work before it goes to production including web, mobile, connected device applications, and more. The Operations Performance Manager creates and maintains the framework used for automation testing for the marketing operations team. In addition, the candidate will contribute both to the definition and the enforcement of quality assurance processes as well as performance optimization based on best practice methodology and reporting. This role combines quality assurance with operational performance, with the goal of reducing latencies to drive increased performance in a highly fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze requirements, user stories, and design documentation to ensure that they are clearly defined, complete, and testable
• Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional specifications and requirements and any issues are flagged to partners in a timely manner
• Work as needed with our internal and external team members to ensure they are fully integrated
• Participate in planning/scoping meetings to review functional and design specs and understand how those impact features in development
• Educate team members on best practices and process updates to drive adoption of new features, ensure alignment, and reduce inefficiencies
• Continuously iterate with the goal of automating manual work and processes to improve performance
• Keep Confluence pages updated on an ongoing basis and communicate changes expeditiously and effectively
• Enhance team measurement practices, including defects in order to improve collective QA efforts

Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years in QA or relevant experience in performance optimization
• Capable of conveying even the most complex concepts in simplified, easy to understand, and digestible terms
• Passion for velocity, enabling the team to scale
• Results oriented, using reporting insights and metrics to drive your next course of action
• Superior presentation, communication and documentation skills
• Experience supporting a globally distributed stakeholder team
• Be a highly organized, highly methodical and strong team player
• Be able to multitask and handle simultaneous projects, have exceptional problem solving skills and display composure under stress
• Self-motivated, with a drive to exceed user expectations and enable partner teams
• Superior stakeholder partnership management via a consultative approach
• Working knowledge of agile methodologies and of Jira/Confluence
• Ability to be on-call, when high priority business needs necessitate

Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge and understanding of Application Lifecycle Management, Software Development and Agile Development Testing practices and methodologies
• Media streaming testing experience
• Working knowledge of proxy tools such as Charles Proxy
• Familiar with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, and /or other lifecycle marketing platforms
• Experience executing automated scripts
• Practical knowledge in Github and version control
• Experience in driving performance improvements and best practices

Required Education
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related field; or equivalent practical experience
