*This role requires you to be in the Milan office Four days per week*

The Italian PR Manager is accountable for Comms strategy for selected Disney+ titles and campaigns among GE and Studio content. They will also support Corporate Comms

Areas of Responsibility

PR & Comms for Disney+:
Own the day to day press office for Disney+ (GE and Studios titles), including junkets, screeners, press screenings, press releases, newsletters, creative solus title ideas and reporting and score cards as requested for Italy.

Collaborating closely with regional counterparts and local marketing departments to ensure coherent execution of communication strategy

Collaborate with PR agencies, Programming, Digital Marketing and Performance Marketing to ensure compliance with the Triple Lock Process and protection of confidential information

Work in collaboration with Marketing and Social teams to launch content marketing materials on Disney social accounts and with press

Plan and implement local events together with DTC & Theatrical Marketing teams, such as screenings, gala premiers and talent visits

Working with local influencers to support solus or brand campaigns with dedicated activities

Support during cross-lobs local events (premieres, junkets, screenings) inviting local celebrities, influencers, press and handling guests on the ground to grant social coverage

Corporate Comms:

Supporting PR Director as to the following activities:

Corporate Comm. Strategy in concert with the Company guidance

Accountable for corporate public announcements

Coordinating and approving Executives' interviews

Supervising and approving speaking opportunities for LT members and executive during meetings/events etc…

Monitoring press review and social media channels

Crisis Management support to PR Director

Taking care of EMEA to deliver locally B2B comms strategies for Italy through our Disney+ and Advertising teams;

Proactive B2B media relations for a range of business areas including advertising, content sales and affiliate partners

Supporting Content Sales teams to deal with external clients PR teams, specifically about comms implications: eg. press announcements and activities to promote our content in free or pay TV, when possible (Rai, Mediaset, SKY, etc).

Lead all aspects of our content sales communications strategy including working in steps with marketing to support at key sales calendar moments ('Xmas on Rai, etc);

Accountable for our affiliate partnerships comms activities, announcements, press releases as defined by the business, and to deal with EMEA team for approval process;

Support high profile executives writing scripts and remarks at this event

The role may occasionally involve internal comms including briefing notes for executives

Experience and Professional Qualifications Required
• Bachelor's degree or higher, English, communications, marketing or public relations.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within press office, public relations, corporate communications or brand management
• Proven excellence in writing and editing required, both in Italian and English.
• Have experience of supporting Crisis Management
• Be dedicated, a person that loves to come up with new initiatives but also a person who likes to work in fast paced environments.
• An understanding of business needs and project management
• Proven track record to self-direct and drive projects from start to finish
• Ability to operate across different markets and LOBs
• Supportive, professional and able to handle confidential information
• Able to act as an ambassador for the department with key internal collaborators
