Job Description
Hulu's Content Operations team is seeking a Media Delivery Ops Specialist who will be an exceptional addition to our Content Operations team. As a Media Delivery Ops Specialist at Hulu, you will ensure the timely publication of content on Hulu, as well as manage the health and accuracy of Hulu's large content library. The right person for this role has working experience in all manner of video operations, asset management, project management, post-production, and digital distribution. If you are a logical problem solver who thrives on new challenges, is driven to improve operational effectiveness, can troubleshoot on the fly, excels in cross-team collaboration, is highly organized, and has strong communication skills, then this is a great role for you!

Responsibilities:
• Serve as a primary go-to resource and escalation contact for our Content Management and Publishing teams in identifying and troubleshooting an array of complex metadata and A/V issues
• Evangelize and enforce our content specifications and provide technical support to external partners for delivery and quality issues
• Ensure content integrity by auditing and evaluating against quality standards, monitoring systems for alerts and take corrective actions, and perform routine asset management tasks
• Provide data and trend insights for operational objectives
• Maintain documentation and runbook accuracy through regular refinement or creation
• Communicate tech challenges and operational requirements effectively to a variety of stakeholders
• Provide feedback on operational workflows to propose scalable solutions for content management and Hulu's content toolset
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and be able to respond to issues in a timely and effective manner

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years' operational experience in OTT, post-production, digital distribution, and/or digital asset management
• Strong digital video experience, including knowledge of various video specifications, ingest platforms, and content management systems
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to present effective, data-supported suggestions for tools and workflow improvements
• Strong familiarity with digital content lifecycle, from production through distribution, including post-production, QC, packaging, and delivery
• Ability to deliver incredibly high-quality results in a heavy multitasking environment
• Experience with network file systems, high-speed transfer services
• Bachelor's Degree, TV/Film Production, Communications, or similar

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience constructing complex SQL and database queries
• Experience with Python programming language
• Experience with Terminal (OSX) and Ubuntu (Linux) command line operations
• Experience with ffmpeg command–line
• Experience/Interest in new and emerging video/audio encoding tech
• Familiarity with Agile, Kanban, and Scrum methods

This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.
