Ad Sales Finance team in Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution (DMED) is seeking a Financial Analyst who will be an outstanding addition to the team. In this role, your primary responsibilities will be analyzing and forecasting the performance of Advertising business P&L, evaluating overall portfolio health, extracting data insights into inventory and demand trends, preparing reports and presentations for management, and assisting with other strategic projects. Due to the market-facing nature of our work and our shifting industry landscape, a successful candidate will have the aptitude to efficiently execute their tasks, develop new ways of analyzing and thinking about existing problems, willingness to work cross-functionally to get job done, and contribute to ideas and initiatives generation.

Responsibilities:
• Routine FP&A operations: maintain and improve monthly/quarterly schedules
• Forecasting & Budgeting: work closely with operation teams including Sales, Product, Marketing, and Data teams. Build out and maintain forecasting models for advertising sales inventory and P&L
• Data Analysis & Insights: assist to build queries in internal data systems to automate information flow and data tracking. Leverage data as a daily habit to elevate insights and trends
• Advanced Modeling: create and enhance sophisticated Excel models, Utilize data sources to develop hypothesis, pressure test scenarios and elevate insights
• Presentation & Decision support: Assist Senior Analyst, Manager with the process of creating presentations to support executive decision-making. Regularly present analytical insights to improve forecasting accuracy and identify areas for improvement
• Strategic Projects: participate in ad-hoc strategic analysis to help drive business forward
Basic Qualifications:
• 0-2 years of experience in Finance space; experience in Advertising industry or sales analytics is a strong plus
• Extensive experience and proficient in Microsoft Excel modeling and quantitative data analysis, exceptional Excel skills required
• Exceptional analytical capabilities, capable of using data tools to drive decision-making; Proficiency in SQL to maintain queries and collaborate with Data Science teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact at all levels of the organization. Ability to produce concise, effective, and visually appealing presentations
• Strong intellectual curiosity and ability to think outside-the-box
• Knowledge of cloud collaboration tools, specifically Google Slides & Google Sheets
• Strong work ethic and an ability to prioritize across multiple projects. Goal-oriented and client-facing mentality, entrepreneurial spirit to continue innovating and adding value
• Proactive communication style with the ability to build/foster relationships with business partners internally and externally
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Sales, digital media, technology
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree required (emphasis in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred)
