Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, collaborative, and enthusiastic person for the position of Content Operations Manager, Title Readiness . Reporting to the Senior Manager, Title Readiness in Glendale, this individual will be responsible for ensuring all required audio, video, localized components, artwork, and metadata are received according to schedules for Disney+ and Star titles. This person will work closely with Order Management, Library Technical Services (LTS), and Disney Streaming Services teams to ensure the intent of each title is accurately reflected downstream based on the expected release date. The role will also aid and support in streamlining processes and workflows for net-new titles, regional product launches, and scalability.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project management and execution, have a keen eye for detail, possess exceptional organizational skills, and a deep knowledge of Audio/Video component ordering and data configuration. They will be proactive in finding solutions and making the right connections with teams, both internal and external, to problem-solve and achieve business and asset requirements. They will have the ability to analyze data, think holistically about product, language and territory experiences, and present project status and summaries. They will not be afraid to innovate new paths or influence to get buy-in from partner teams or escalate when needed. This position will require detailed knowledge of the upstream content management systems at The Walt Disney Company. The ideal candidate will understand the role each source system plays in the content operations value chain, and how the assets flow through to all our products and services downstream to the media service operations team. They will also bring a passion for innovation and title management, capable of partnering with others on title planning processes and efficiencies.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who can effectively collaborate and communicate at all levels of the organization, including Senior (VP-level) Product and Technology leaders at the Company.

Responsibilities:
• Daily oversight of titles expected to go live on Disney+ and Star+; ensure readiness of titles weekly
• Participate in high-profile updates 2x/week; requires late evening monitoring and validation
• Track resolution of Jira tickets which identify issues in QC and deliveries within a determined SLA
• Communicate deadlines and remediation needs to stakeholders in a timely manner
• Escalate issues and titles immediately where resolution extends expected SLA
• Assist in ''ready-to-stream'' forecasting and planning with Content Planning and LTS teams
• Identify solutions quickly, ensuring all parties involved are working to resolve quickly
• Monitor slack channels for internal escalations
• Track delivery and readiness of titles expected for new territory and/or language launches
• Partner with cross-functional teams on workflow, timelines, and requirements per title, keeping each team accountable for their details to maintain the accuracy of net-new assets ordered
• Understand quick turnarounds and tight deadlines
• Monitor component ordering status updates and date changes to Programming and Title Planning so they are aware of any update, shifts, or risk associated with title launch

Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience managing and troubleshooting delivery of A/V, artwork and metadata components, preferably with a content streaming platform
• Strong project management experience and the ability to juggle multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced environment
• Experience launching a product globally, with multiple languages and asset types
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and a willingness to pivot as needed
• A collaborative spirit, especially as an expert at getting things done, all with a positive attitude
• Strategic thinking and the ability to focus on long-term scalability and growth of the business
• Ability to dissect workflows and make tool recommendations that lead to more efficient and effective processes
• Comfortable using various data management systems and tools - e.g. Google and Microsoft suites (especially Excel), Jira, Airtable, Smartsheet, Domo, Tableau
• Clear written and verbal communication and the ability to command a room

Preferred Qualifications:
• Thorough understanding of data security best practices is a plus

Required Education
• BA/BS or equivalent experience required
