We are seeking an exceptional Senior Product Manager who has demonstrated successful experience in working with large scale consumer messaging platforms and transactional or marketing messaging use cases. Our Messaging Platform reaches members and prospective members via outbound channels like email, and push notifications, in addition to in-app messaging. In this role you will be collaborating closely with peer product managers across Disney Streaming to develop and refine messaging use cases or campaigns. You will leverage your domain expertise to drive the enablement of messaging capabilities to allow our stakeholders the ability to deliver robust messaging experiences for our subscribers. This person will evangelize the adoption of the messaging platform to other product teams, and work with them to help follow best practices when developing business requirements for messaging.

As part of the rapidly growing Messaging Services team within Lifecycle Product, you will help our partners bring to life amazing digital experiences within Messaging that will have a profound impact on how our subscribers engage with our services. You will look to influence our enterprise messaging strategy by being able to surface new opportunities for Messaging through the needs of our stakeholders. You will look to become the day-to-day central point of contact for leading marketing messaging features and use case related questions, issues and ad-hoc requests across the ecosystem.

This role is highly cross-organizational and cross-functional. You will look to partner with peer Product leads within the LifeCycle Product team, as well as collaborate with a wide breadth of Product and Engineering teams across different functions and domains. You must be able to thrive in ambiguity, be able to take unfocused requests and convert them into actionable to-dos, and communicate effectively to stakeholders at peer levels throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:
• Work with our engineering partners to drive and execute on the messaging product strategy, and help determine the prioritization of upcoming use cases, features, and capabilities.
• Increase adoption of the messaging platform across Disney Streaming by partnering with product partners to enable new use cases on the platform.
• Ensure transparency and communication by partnering with engineering, product design, product marketing, and other teams across the business to discover and validate meaningful solutions.
• Develop detailed success measures for messaging use cases that stakeholder teams can leverage to drive business decisions.
• Deeply understand and socialize the evolving needs of our stakeholders, and how messaging experiences can influence our subscribers.
• Provide messaging domain expertise for the messaging platform, and messaging use cases to various stakeholders and organizations across Disney Streaming.
• Fill in gaps across roles and functions as needed, performing as an adaptive problem solver.
• Work cross-functionally in a team-oriented and collaborative environment to problem solve, while keeping an objective focus on achieving business value.

Basic Qualifications:
• 3+ years of Product Management experience within Messaging, preferably with Messaging Platforms.
• You have demonstrated a successful track record in working with large scale enterprise consumer messaging platforms, driving delivery of transactional or marketing messaging use cases.
• You are able to understand complex data flows & business rules that drive messaging within a multi-tenant, and multi-client environment.
• You excel at identifying key issues & questions, analyzing & visualizing data, and are able to craft a compelling story to senior business partners and key stakeholders that influence business decisions.
• You are comfortable working with ambiguity and independently to find and resolve issues with minimal guidance.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complicated findings or technical approaches in easy-to-understand ways.
• Ability to learn quickly about multiple functional areas across Disney Streaming.
• Bachelor's degree with educational background in business or technology or related experience.
