The Developer Platform Engineering (DPE) department is a horizontal service team providing both tools and guidance across the Disney Streaming organization for operations in AWS. DPE strives to act as a productivity multiplier for applications teams, working closely with them to drive their adoption of AWS services and offering a ''cloud-native'' perspective on application architecture, infrastructure, and deployment strategies.
The DPE Product Team is based out of the Hulu office in Santa Monica. As a Senior Product Manager on the DPE Product Team you will drive the roadmap definition of our developer platform. You have demonstrated skills working both inside and outside the department to coordinate highly technical teams to deliver safe, and simple workflows for our developer community, and a reliable, highly available platform at scale for tens of millions of users.

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the engineering managers and architects of the Developer Platform Engineering teams to define product goals and requirements
• Engage with our stakeholders - the broader engineering community - build strong relationships and to understand their current and future needs
• Develop detailed product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success measures
• Lead efforts to identify risks, resolve key blockers, and establish appropriate resolution paths
• Champion a collaborative work environment that cultivates shared understanding, transparency, autonomy, innovation, and continuous learning

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years experience building products in the developer tooling space
• Minimum 3 years working with a team of engineers, designers and other cross-functional team, focused on outcome-based deliverables in the engagement area.
• Comfortable in a fast changing environment, with frequently changing demands, building and managing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and circumstances.
• You should have a bias for action, the propensity to break down work, identify the highest value items, and iteratively deliver valuable improvements
• Effective leadership capabilities, and ability to motivate a team.
• Detailed knowledge of Agile development practices and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-impact features at scale
• Ability to communicate with both technical and business experts.

Preferred Qualifications:
• An understanding of the fundamentals of cloud migrations and cloud ecosystems and the trade-offs between managed and unmanaged services
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (CS, CE, EE), business, or equivalent experience
• Experience with media technology in the live or on-demand streaming space
• Background managing platforms and tooling for internal customers
• Product or Project Management certification is a plus, but not required
