Job Description
This Director, Product Marketing role will focus on shaping the priorities and subscriber-first vision for a large team of product marketers dedicated to driving engagement and retention for our global Disney+ subscribers. In this cross-functional role you will seek to provide value throughout the subscriber lifecycle as you influence the Disney+ product roadmap to develop and launch new features.

Responsibilities:
• Advise on messaging, positioning, naming, and overall launch strategy to drive, awareness and adoption of new product features.
• Position yourself and your team as the key stakeholder and marketing voice with the Product team when it comes to prioritizing future product features.
• Lead your team to develop deep understanding of our subscriber base and key audience segments, and synthesize key insights, analytics, and competitive intelligence across various Voice of Subscriber channels, to inform product development and requirements, positioning and go-to-market strategies.
• Ensure all planned product features and enhancements have clear impact on our overarching engagement and retention business goals
• Develop requirements for all existing subscriber marketing flow/funnel within the product (e.g. onboarding, cross-sell)
• Gather and organize product needs from all parts of the Engagement Marketing team
• Identify opportunities for product improvements
• Participate in product roadmap ideation and requirements gathering to ensure that subscriber needs are being considered and met.
• Represent the voice of our subscriber during product roadmap planning sessions by clearly understanding all our existing subscriber segments.
• Weigh in on the strategy and own the execution of go-to-market plans for new product features and/or enhancements.
• Partner with the analytics teams to define goals and track success of key launches and monitor results to prioritize product prioritization and future evolutions.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 10+ years experience in product marketing, product, strategy, consulting or marketing with deep customer insight and go-to-market experience
• 5+ years of management experience in developing best-in-class teams. You put your team first and empower them to grow their careers and drive business impact
• You have a combination of analytical and creative abilities: you're able to dive into subscriber data to infer a customer insight, understand what types of qualitative and quantitative research are needed on a project and you're able to write positioning documents and provide creative feedback
• You connect teams. You're able to work cross-functionally to get things done and you see new ways for teams to partner together to improve the experience for our subscribers
• You enjoy tackling complex problems and are comfortable navigating ambiguity and suggesting a way to tackle complex problems
• You have demonstrated success working with global teams on product strategies and GTM strategies and tactics, and understand the different incentives teams have entering into a project and you work to drive alignment
• You are able to manage a large team working on interdependent, complex projects and keep various work streams and team members on track

This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.
