Responsibilities

In this senior-level position, you will join engineering teams delivering digital and direct to consumer products, on mobile apps and websites, for the Lifestyle Brand portfolio of brands including Magnolia, Food Network Kitchen, Food Network, HGTV, Discovery, and TLC. You will autonomously lead the planning, development, and timely delivery of projects with positive outcomes, keeping stakeholders aligned on what to expect and when from start to finish.
• Scope & Complexity: You drive projects across more than one team, you have experience managing dependencies and stakeholders from external teams. You're able to take an ambiguous problem statement related to your subject-matter area to drive project deliverables over multiple iterations to achieve the right outcome.
• Decision Making: You are able to act as a representative for your area autonomously. Your decisions are right, far more often than not. You play a leadership role in your team: they look to you for advice on both technical and business issues.
• Execution: You get a lot done and you make others around you more productive. You have a company wide view of how your programs or projects impact the bottom line and you consistently think about how to improve our ability to deliver large projects. Operations You apply processes and standards thoughtfully, identifying the right amount of process and structure to achieve the correct outcome with the least overhead.
• Influence: You play a leadership role in your team: they look to you for advice on the product direction, technical designs, and operations.
• Communication: Your written and verbal communication skills are exemplary, concise and to the point, making you the initial point of contact for business and technical stakeholders. You are the point of contact for data related to your product, services, and features.

Qualifications
• Former software engineer or otherwise have a deeply technical background. You can lead and participate in technical conversations with software engineers and understand complex technical requirements .
• 8+ years experience in successful technology program delivery and management through each of these stages: initiation, planning, execution, tracking, and closing. Experience must demonstrate - Consistent delivery of the right software on time with both internal and external team dependencies.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects, in varying stages, across multiple products and stakeholder groups, with fungible judgement.
- Ability to anticipate issues and risks before they have a material impact to delivery. When they do have a material impact, ability to autonomously quantify impact, weigh options, identify the best path forward, align stakeholders, and drive to success.
- Ability to align your team's deliverables with goals of the broader organization. - Success in identifying, influencing, and leading implementation of impactful process improvements.
- Success in leading and influencing teams to positive outcomes and continuous improvement, even when the team is not under your direct management.
- Ability to influence and lead teams to breakdown work into smaller deliverables for quick feedback loops and continuous value delivery.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication with a passion for keeping stakeholders informed on what to expect and when, with an ability to vary style and level of detail as appropriate to the audience.
- Proactively driving for clarity where there is ambiguity.
- Leadership in helping teams quickly and effectively adapt to change.
• Discernment, aptitude, and leadership qualities demonstrate ability to grow into the next level of program management leadership either as an individual contributor or a people manager. 4. Solid understanding of software development methods like CI/CD, Agile Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, etc. and can apply the right tool or technique to the situation.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Smartsheet or other project management tools. 6. Project management or agile certification such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM is a plus. 7. Must have the legal right to work in the country hired.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $107,030- $198,770 salary per year.
Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
