Overview

Responsible for in-depth analysis of channels and shows' performance in multi-platforms (linear and non-linear). Create data-based narratives and deliver trend analysis of the advertising landscape to support the Ad Sales team. Capture opportunities based on social buzz, consumer behavior and video consumption trends to build attractive storytellings.

Responsibilities
• Main contact to support the Ad Sales team with studies, trend analysis, new opportunities and research.
• Analyzes Discovery performance and the Ad market to find opportunities and to improve our sales speech.
• Understands the main difficulties of the Ad Sales team to do desk research and to build survey questionnaires to address the right questions.
• Conducts comprehensive analysis of the competition including branded content strategy and ads landscape.
• Monitors SVOD players' initiatives regarding brands and ads solutions.
• Develops reports and presentations to easily address opportunities for Ad Sales and Discovery and market performances.
• Assists director in coordination of primary research projects, including survey design, fieldwork, analysis, interpretation of data and production of final reports.
• Creates and manages the schedule of studies, surveys and analysis considering Ads sazonalities to proactively feed Ad Sales team of fresh and relevant information.
• Uses tools to analyse and understand the consumer profile and journey in different platforms (TV, Socials, Streaming).

Qualifications
• 5+ years market research experience with advertising agency, cable/broadcast network or streaming players.
• Knowledge of Brazil TV/video streaming and Advertising market and familiarity with Kantar/IBOPE methodology and tools.
• Very strong analytical skills with the ability to see numbers and draw insights with actionable conclusions.
• Independent problem solving skills, self-starter, able to juggle multiple requests, involving multiple markets and channels.
• Tech and numbers ''savvy'' with the ability to learn and handle multiple software and databases.
• Knowledge of tools to analyze Discovery Brands and shows on Socials: Social Bakers, CrowdTangle, Tubular, Brandwatch.
• Passionate about the entertainment and advertising industry.
• Proficiency with word, excel and powerpoint (or google tools). Tableau, Adobe Analytics or Power BI is a plus.
• Proficiency in English. Spanish is a plus.
• Education – Minimum Bachelor's degree.
