The Knack Project Manager role is an integral part of the commercial team, supporting the Project Lead and Project Exec to develop and execute best in class client partnerships and sponsorships across the Warner Bros. Discovery portfolio.
This role will focus on nationwide favorites such as The Block NZ and The Project while supporting other awesome shows across the calendar year. You will enjoy spending time on set, rubbing shoulders with familiar on screen faces, and working with the most well known and recognisable brands there are. A passion for DIY & design is a bonus as you are going to be privy to the ideation and execution of some of the most impressively designed, highly spec'd houses you will ever see.
Partnerships run across all platforms including TV, digital and social, so a tech savvy enthusiast with confidence across platforms will be extremely valuable. A background in TV and or digital media or agency client service is preferable. We are looking for someone with recent relevant experience who can work with a commitment to meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations while working in a great team environment. The applicant must reside in NZ and be eligible to work in New Zealand full time.
Responsibilities
• Working with the Knack Project Lead in the proposal phase to identify implementation opportunities and issues and make recommendations on solutions and cost implications
• Review and understand all contracted project deliverables, allocated budgets, deadlines and any other Warner Bros. Discovery NZ responsibilities
• Communicate project details effectively and efficiently across all project stakeholders including customers, Warner Bros. Discovery AU&NZ and any external production and/or distribution partners, ensuing all stakeholders understand their role/responsibility
• Create and manage project timelines and workflow throughout the project and ensure all relevant parties are across this information and are clear on agreed deadlines
• Create and lead project WIP meetings and regular client meetings and ensure pre- and post meeting agendas and call reports are circulated in a timely manner
• Manage costs throughout the project through ongoing oversight alongside production/creative.
• Coordinate any project approvals requirements with all relevant parties and maintain approvals records
• Attend client shoots as required and facilitate any communication on set between the client and crew
• Attend and assist with any relevant client activations
• Ongoing review of the completed deliverables against what has been contracted/agreed with the client/agency to ensure full project delivery
• Assist with the preparation of post analysis reports as required
• Ensure Knack Lead is immediately informed of any barriers/issues that may create risk for Warner Bros. Discovery
• Ensure conduct at all times is in a manner consistent with the company's values, ensure all dealings with customers, audience and internal stakeholders are undertaken fairly, with integrity and are solution focused.
• Contribute expertise, skills and general life wisdom to wider Knack team to foster teamwork and a great working environment.
• Ensure you are familiar with the Employer's policies and procedures, and any modifications to those policies and procedures that may be introduced from time to time.
• Carry out your work safely and without endangering or causing harm to yourself, fellow staff members, contractors, customers, visitors, or the general public.
• Other duties as required.
