Discovery is looking for an experienced Product Manager for the direct-to-consumer business in our New Market Expansions and Regional Liaisons team. As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of market specific features and functionality for our discovery+ service, aimed at launching discovery+ in new markets as we expand our global footprint.

Responsibilities
• Develop detailed requirements documentation on new market launches, including PRFAQs and / or Product Briefs that serve as a centralised source of information
• Detail tickets in JIRA to document requirements for new market launches
• Conduct research and competitive analysis on existing services in regions
• Develop clear, structured presentations aimed at key partners including senior management
• Proactively gather information and data from stakeholders and facilitate analysis to identify gaps, issues and opportunities. Conduct independent analysis to help prioritise features and user impact
• Ensure complex business needs are documented in simple use cases
• Support agile delivery from teams working with Product Managers, Engineering, User Experience and Design to deliver to deadlines
• Prioritize requested features/requirements for the product in a structured, data-driven manner
• Identify issues and report on progress to leadership, help problem solve and support in options analysis to unblock stakeholder teams
• Engage with local and global stakeholders, and lead workstreams independently / with minimal supervision as required
• Help define product strategy and maintain roadmap for delivery for scope of features required for expanding discovery+ globally

Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in Product Management or related field
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skill sets
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Ability to produce project reports, product brief and assessments, requirements and tickets that are clear and useful to the teams
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Ability to work well in a team, as well as independently
• Ability to work across multiple projects and have the ability to prioritise based on state of projects, urgency to ensure deadlines are met
• Ability to self-organise and take ownership of product specific requirements from end-to-end. From information and data collection through to successful delivery to the customer
• Good technical aptitude and understanding of the software development process, methodologies and frameworks
• Strong customer service ethos, committed to quality, with the will and enthusiasm to drive improvements, process and solutions for the service
• In-depth understanding of digital (OTT) and broadcast technology preferred
• Experience in working in a global organisation
• Must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom
