Our Team/Summary
The US Real Estate & Facilities team leads the planning, design and construction of multi-million-dollar facility buildouts and enhancement projects as well as overall lease, workspace and facilities operational management of the US office portfolio.
The Role
Develop graphic design work to meet client needs in a cost effective and creative manner. Operate multifunctional devices, bindery equipment and large format finishing equipment. Work with regional sites as needed to provide solutions to printing equipment issues and print requests. Provide customer service by interacting with employees in meeting their creative requests. Provides back-up in Manager's absence and as well as support in all areas of the Print & Graphic Services.
Responsibilities
• Meets all Graphic Design and Print production requests in a timely manner
• Assists customers with special graphics needs by being able to quickly create professional business quality graphics
• Assists Supervisor with monthly volume reports and department billing
• Ability to perform complex mail merge document set-ups, logo re-builds and provide training to less experienced print staff
• Oversee quality control standards for all print jobs
• Manages and prints large volumes of requests
• Responds and repairs equipment throughout the building
• Schedules service calls on equipment
• Assists with management of SecurePrint (''follow me'' printing technology) servers' activity to ensure system is up and running as well as troubleshoots issues as they arise
• Monitor SmartPrint/National Copier Fleet copier status portal for supply/paper jam issues, providing regional support as needed
• Work with IT support groups like GSA/NOC to resolve connectivity issues
• Troubleshoot all graphic design, printing, and equipment issues within Print & Graphic Services
• Cross-trains on all equipment machines
• Orders and maintains inventory of print production supplies
• Coordinates jobs with off-site vendors as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
• 3-5 years' experience with solid understanding of computer graphics and other software packages like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Proficiency with print-related software such as Fiery, Onyx and Cut Master is a plus
• Solid knowledge of MS Office
• Effective written and verbal communication skills demonstrated through clear and concise reports, meetings and one-on-one dialogue.
• Ability to work independently and produce excellent results in a highly dynamic work environment.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in working collaboratively and cross-functionally within the organization in order to execute tasks under tight deadlines, demonstrating sound ''relationship management'' skills both within and external to the organization.
• Must be exceptionally organized, structured, methodical, and attentive to detail and possess a high-degree of follow-through.
• Proven ability to break complex issues into manageable parts, establish priorities among multiple tasks and work collaboratively with team members to achieve common goals.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
