Job Description
Overview

The Manager of People Analytics will be responsible for leading and maintaining the P&C People Analytics site. You will be creating and managing a data warehouse, developing dashboards and data visualization, automated products, testing, debugging, and providing technical documentation for the team. This position requires technical knowledge of all phases of the business intelligence process. You will work closely with both Information Technology and People and Culture to standardize and align reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities

Dashboard Development
• Technical documentation, translate all business requirement into technical specifications for developers.
• Data manipulation, Extract, transfer and load raw data into the data warehouse for dashboard and product development.
• Data visualization expert, maintain a working knowledge of data mining and visualization best practices.
• Design and develop People Analytics dashboards and reports for the leadership team and business partners.
• Perform user acceptances testing, maintenance, upgrades, correct errors, or bugs.
• Provide recommendations on analytical software, hardware, and service upgrades.

Product Management
• Manage and maintain People Analytics platform, recommend changes in systems and processes.
• Liaison to Information Technology; gather requirements, specifications and disseminate to IT for development.
• Distribute the operational analytics monthly and streamline current process.
• Supports the HR team on an ongoing basis for ad-hoc products, and external data request.

Project Management
• Consulting, meet with clients and leaders to understand analytical business requirements.
• Project planning, develop project scope, project plans and timelines for all analytical products.
• Facilitate, schedule, and lead all analytics and product development meetings with clients.
• Handle all aspects of People Analytics development (planning, tracking against time and deliverables, issues/risk management).
• Offer guidance and direction to the team, including expectations for timeline and deliverables.
• Identify obstacles and lead the development of solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
• A degree, Master's preferred, in computer science, statistics, or another computational area with an emphasis on the use of machine learning/data mining to build predictive models.
• 5+ years with combined Analytics, Information Technology, or Human Resources experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

In addition to meeting the above qualifications, any of the following are preferred:
• Experience successfully implementing Analytical Platforms
• Experience handling data in a large corporation
• Experience in Project Management
• Extensive Experience with Business Intelligence and Analytics Tools (Tableau, Oracle BI, Python, SQL, SPSS & R, SAPBW).
• Experience in leading a robust platform for Human Resources

• Consultation skills - ability to work with internal clients and understand their needs
• Ability to communicate effectively
