Lead Specialist - HR Operations (New Joiners Experience)
Overview

In this role you will be responsible for creating an efficient and effective onboarding process that will allow for the best possible candidate experience. You will be supporting Discovery's mission to attract, engage and retain the best talent externally and internally. We are looking for a passionate professional who is comfortable working with onboarding / recruitment processes in a fast-paced, international environment.

Responsibilities
• Manage the communication process with internal and external candidates, People & Culture, Talent Acquisition team, colleagues and hiring managers supporting the onboarding and recruitment processes
• Collaborate with management and peers to identify opportunities to improve the candidate experience, both in recruitment and onboarding
• Ensure compliance with company and local legislative policies for recruitment processes
• Resolve cases for People & Culture customers (employees, vendors, business partners, managers etc.) on a variety of topics while providing exceptional customer service.
• Serve as the process lead for the New Joiners Experience team in Warsaw, Poland.
• Promote collaborative working environment within Discovery to support knowledge sharing by using effective verbal and written communication
• Serves as operations liaison with various stakeholders such as People & Culture partners in relation to onboarding and recruitment activities.
• Perform testing related to People & Culture systems.
• Participate in People & Culture projects and initiatives to improve processes and drive efficiencies.
• Support in recruitment activities including sourcing, screening and selection as well as ensuring all on-boarding and pre-employment checks are completed appropriately
• Conducts audits and quality assurance testing to ensure accuracy of variety of inputs
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned which may become essential to the position

Qualifications
• 3+ years of HR experience, preferably within an HR Operations or Talent Acquisition team
• Able to critically review processes and provide suggestions for improvement
• Excellent customer service skills
• Working knowledge of employment legislation, particularly around talent acquisition
• Experience of building, maintaining and managing strong relationships with stakeholders
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines on multiple projects or tasks concurrently
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally to target audiences
• Comfortable working with a global consumer base and different Cultures
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken (French preferable but not required)
• SuccessFactors Recruitment & Onboarding module experience will be an asset
