Overview

The Integration Lead role ensures designated Discovery Integration projects are delivered to meet all client, Network and producer expectations in a way that achieves a win/win/win outcome. This role will need to carefully navigate the balance between delivering to client objectives while maintaining the integrity of the content to ensure audience success as determined by programming and production. This role will demonstrate exceptional client service and be active in up-skilling the wider Integration team in this area. A strong desire to win, a very inclusive working style, and the ability to build positive internal and external relationships will be critical to the success of the role.

Responsibilities
• Support the broader commercial team to secure partnership/sponsorship revenue
• Design, develop and price integrated brand partnerships and sponsorships across all platforms, both on- and off-air, within the designated portfolio, and across any other assigned briefs/projects, to meet briefed client objectives, content requirements and commercial outcomes
• Integrated partnership recommendations that span linear and digital platforms, and the full portfolio of Discovery ANZ channels to meet briefed client objectives and Discovery commercial objectives
• Liaise with relevant EPs, programming and platform specialists to ensure deliverables are achievable and within any content guidelines and/or contracted rights
• Work with sales team to secure optimal pricing and leverage extended commercial opportunities
• Ensure pricing position reflects broader market conditions, is in line with value delivery, accounts for all hard costs and delivers a healthy margin.
• Completion of pricing and valuation matrix with a focus on ensuring these are accurate and complete
• Lead ideation brainstorms to ensure recommendations and responses have strong creative credentials
• Demonstrate ongoing innovation
• Ensure proposal documents are accurate and of a high presentation standard
• Ensure knowledge and application of any client category and/or programming restrictions (e.g. censorship) so that all partnership/sponsorships fall within ASA and BSA requirements
• Management of integration direct reports and wider internal stakeholders to ensure production team is clear on client partner objectives and contracted format deliverables on all sold projects
• Ongoing review of project deliverables to ensure all contracted elements are completed as agreed
• Ensure production team is clear on client partner objectives and contracted format deliverables
• Work with production team throughout pre-production and production to manage all integration deliverables, maintaining a positive and solutions focussed approach at all times
• Preparation of contracts/agreements, coordination to ensure these are completed prior to the project commencement.
• Engagement with legal team to ensure any risk for Discovery ANZ is mitigated
• Timely filing of these in the Integration and Legal systems
• Lodging completed matrices and agreements with Legal and Finance to ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition and billing.
• Develop healthy and professional relationships with all internal partners, client stakeholders and agency partners
• Create production bible for production team that encompasses all deliverables and deliver to production partner in a time to meet required deadlines
• Manage client requirements for all licencing, off-air activation and talent deliverables in conjunction with Integration Licencing Manager.
• Input into all areas of third party licencing and talent for production contracts
• Work with Licencing Manager to co-ordinate day to day approvals process and client interaction.
• Ensure communication and understanding of negotiated licencing access and parameters for each format (as per instructions from Legal) to all client partners
• Ensure appropriate documents are provided to client partners and also production partners to manage agreed suppliers.
• Oversee Project Manager and Exec to ensure all project implementation runs smoothly and efficiently across all deliverables.
• Ensure timely information flow so that all parties are able to deliver their project components to deadline
• Lead/attend internal project meetings and ensure that all pertinent information is passed on to relevant parties.
• Attend client shoots and activations as required and manage communications between agencies/clients and crew.
• Coach, develop and mentor direct reports and wider Integration team members
• with specific focus on exceptional client service, outstanding project delivery and financial management.

Qualifications
• Must have media/creative agency and/or video production experience - minimum 7+ years
• Poise under pressure consistent with a leadership role
