Job Description
Overview

The Manager of Partner Pricing will be responsible for pricing and promotions for Discovery+ partnerships. The successful candidate will manage discount recommendations, financial modeling for all Discovery+ partnerships.

Responsibilities
• Guide partnership teams on partner entry and partner exit plans as it pertains to overlap of acquisitions and retention of users as part of retiring partnerships
• Review acquisition and KPI performance of partner cohorts and make recommendations to internal partner leads
• Analyze user engagement for all partner users and develop recommendations for subscriber growth and future contract negotiations
• Apply proficiency in financial and quantitative analysis to see beyond the data in identifying and quantifying high-impact opportunities to grow and maintain Discovery's DTC partner user base
• Guide partnership teams on partner entry plans as it pertains to overlap of acquisitions and build onboarding plan for each partner user group with direct marketing to increase partner user adoption

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a numerical or marketing discipline or equivalent years of experience
• Strong analytical, communication and time management skills
• Experience with revolving membership programs/credit card or loyalty program promotions preferred
• Ability to understand and interpret trends and react with strategic/tactical changes
• Good technical skills and knowledge of spreadsheet analysis; Google Sheets/Excel
• Strong communicator with ability to adjust / adapt to situations to maximize results
• Ability to work face-to-face and electronically (e.g. telephone, e-mail, IM, social media)
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Ability to lead and work with a diverse team
