Overview

This position serves to provide support to segment finance teams within the Warner Brothers Discovery group mainly focusing on HBO Max performance. The Manager of Financial Analysis in Streaming is responsible for delivering consolidated operating results and financial reporting packages and related analysis, and is an active liaison between segment Finance, Group FP&A and other functional teams. This role also provides support to segment specific special projects and key strategic initiatives.

You work within the Global Streaming LOB Team which offers you a great opportunity to participate in the overall finance transformation roadmap setting standards for the financial processes of WBD.

Responsibilities
• Consistently prepare and publish accurate and meaningful consolidated month-end financial statements and reporting packages for the supported business unit
• Provide and maintain the consolidated budget and forecast comparative reporting to Senior Finance Leadership and the Consolidated Financial Reporting Group
• Summarizing key findings to support discussions and decision making with the business
• Prepare value-added ad hoc financial reports and analysis as appropriate
• Interpretation and clear communication of results, reports and analysis
• Collect various of metrics and present them in the financial decks with insightful commentary
• Review risks & opportunities provided by various forecast teams and share with Group Finance
• Support process improvement initiatives and take a leadership role in implementing reporting changes as required by the segment finance teams and/or the shared services organization
• Prepare consolidated external reporting deliverables as required
• Support the WBD COE transformation initiative, acting as point of contact to Finance partners for issues identification and resolution
• Maintain the integrity of the reporting hierarchies and chart field segments
• Continuous review and improvement of management information

Qualifications
• 5+ years of work experience – preferably majority spent in FP&A department of multinational, matrix organization
• Excellent track record proven by promotions within company
• Experience in managing a team or a direct report is a plus
• CIMA/ACCA qualified or education in progress desired
• Solid understanding of forecasting and budgeting process
• General accounting knowledge
• Strong MS Excel & PowerPoint skills
• Assured self-starter on relevant projects and work is a plus
• Strong oral and written English communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Pro-active and hands-on
High drive and energy level
• Your way of working is characterized by a high level of accuracy
• Fluent in English
• Strong IT affinity to drive required digital agenda in FP&A (EPM ie. Hyperion, SAP BPC/SAC, BI tools ie. Power BI)
