Job Purpose
Our greatest assets are our brands, our workforce, and our content. At the intersection of all three, you will work with the onsite and global teams to drive the curation, operations, and strategy of the largest unscripted pipeline of content in the world, encompassing all brands, with the ultimate goal of connecting audiences with content that gives them joy.

Not only will you be the custodian of our entire global pipeline in the region, some content will be accessible to audiences for the first time ever, and on demand. While this role will be delivery focused, it also entails taking a data driven, creative, and experimental approach to connect audiences with content that will help power their passions, identifying new content opportunities.

There is significant cross-business responsibility, and ultimately, you are also responsible to help entertain millions of people.

Responsibilities
• Shape, implement and execute content strategy & operations for discovery+ & asianfoodnetwork.com

• Selecting and curating content based on both data and instinct, acquiring and looking at the potential for local original content, managing delivery and planning using content management software, ultimately responsible for ensuring content gets from our global pipeline in front of local audiences

• Communicate as one of the spokespersons and representatives for our content, brands, audiences, and be our biggest content advocate

• Own budgets, acquisitions, inter-department, global, and external relationships

• Proactively look for opportunities and experiments to support and grow our understanding of our audiences and our content

• Coordinate communication, activities and initiatives with multiple global departments for consistent and cohesive messaging and global campaigns

• Represent audience needs to all departments including creative, performance, marketing, insights, languaging, operations, sales, and others

• International travel may be required when business travel resumes

Requirements
• 3+ years of experience working with content and learning from audiences

• Being an active fan of content and entertainment is a must. You need to love content at least as much as our audiences do, but ideally more

• Responsible, detail oriented and meticulous with a proactive passion for experimentation and be able to work well with others

• Strong written and oral communication skills in English required

• Experience working in a demanding environment, with multiple deadlines, objectives and stakeholders and across analytics tools and content management systems

• Creative skills are a strong plus

• Experience with production a strong plus

• Strong passion for Southeast Asia is a strong plus
