Discovery+ is excited to announce that we’re recruiting a Content coordinator as part of the EMEA Content and Business Operations team.
Discovery+ is Discovery's direct-to-consumer entertainment platform available throughout the APAC and EMEA regions. Therefore, as a Content Coordinator you will work in close collaboration with our Product, Operations, Analytics and Content delivery teams–ensuring that the latest content is available on Dplay, that all show imagery is of the highest standard, all show metadata is accurate and correctly published across all of Dplay’s platforms and that all the content analysis reports are up to date.
Responsibilities
• Support the local territories with the publishing of new shows/episodes; updating metadata across the various discovery+ territories and technology platforms
• Image governance – ensuring all imagery is up to standard across all platforms; working with the London-based Picturedesk team to find suitable alternative images (as required)
• Working with the Operations teams triaging reported bugs which may be due to incorrect content entry
• Working with Content Operations to ensure content is delivered correctly, and working through any errors or required amendments
• Identify and update missing metadata and language translations
• Facilitation of cross department collaboration of content (imagery, video, copy, branding)
• Manage and coordinate various content volume reports
• Maintain and update various automatic email templates in all markets
Requirements
• Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to self-organize, take ownership of a project/task and drive it through to completion
• Able to build strong relationships with team members both in London and in the regional offices
• Able to plan workloads and work towards tight deadlines
• Proven ability to work well under pressure with a high degree of flexibility and a positive approach
• Strong customer service ethos, committed to quality, with the will and enthusiasm to drive improvements
Experience
• Proven experience working on an enterprise level CMS
• Proven experience on working on high-traffic platforms and websites
• Proven understanding of editorial workflows and working as part of a larger editorial team
• Copywriting skills
• Experience with photo/video-editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere
• Experience working with google and Microsoft spreadsheets
