Our Digital Strategy & Operations team specializes in driving new and effective advertising solutions using Discovery Digital Studios innovations and insights, as well as those of our other networks (e.g., Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, OWN). From launching products that accelerate growth, to providing campaign optimization along with business and consumer insights, our team is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes and ensuring seamless operational processes. Job Summary

We are seeking a Branded Content Specialist to help continue the full Discovery brand portfolio's growth by providing support, in-depth analyses, and content optimization recommendations specifically for sponsored content on our site or social platforms. This position will support and partner with ad sales, marketing, commerce, and editorial teams to help ensure the ongoing success of this constantly evolving business. The specialist will report to the Branded Content Manager.

Responsibilities
• Track campaign delivery and key performance metrics across social platforms to ensure delivery, measure success, and maintain social benchmarking

• Manage compilation and delivery of campaign reports, highlighting content performance versus benchmarks and providing meaningful takeaways

• Assist in managing paid social campaigns for advertiser-sponsored content, and select marketing for our sites, ensuring optimal content engagement and cost performance

• Utilize social analytics software to monitor the competitive landscape for branded content across social platforms

• Assist in providing actionable, data-driven recommendations to the digital content and ad sales marketing teams as needed

• Assist with the development of digital-only content marketing proposals, when needed

• Develop effective cross-divisional relationships to act as a trusted liaison within the organization

• Remain informed of industry trends, platform updates and releases, and best practices

Requirements
• 2-5 years experience in digital media or marketing preferred

• A quick learner who is detail-oriented and self-motivated

• Ability to manage and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, complex business environment, including managing time effectively to consistently meet deadlines

• Working knowledge of Google Sheets and Slides

• Exposure to, or experience with, running Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest ads is a plus

• Confidence in making analytical, data-driven recommendations and clearly communicating the results of analyses to the manager

• Ability to work efficiently and effectively with many different teams and individuals

• Must have the legal right to work in the United States
