Vice President, Global Talent Acquisition
Position Summary
We are looking for a VP of Talent Acquisition (TA) to design and apply strategies that will help us attract , hire, and retain top talent . At Deluxe , our future approach to TA is a strategic one, and we aspire to build consultative relationships with internal teams to help grow the business while getting to know external candidates.
R esponsibilities include managing a team of recruiters and crafting sourcing strategies for various roles, from entry-level to executive-level positions. You should be able to ensure we provide an excellent candidate experience, while meeting our business goals and filling our vacancies.
Ultimately, you will build a strong employer brand for our company so that we can develop strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Main Duties
• Own projects around bringing our TA team, processes, and function into a highly competitive talent market.
• Design and execute recruiting strategies to attract, evaluate and hire qualified candidates
• Oversee and improve overall candidate experience from sourcing through onboarding
• Maintain talent pipelines with potential candidates and past applicants for future staffing needs
• Organize recruitment events to establish a strong employer brand
• Regularly and proactively meeting with senior leadership to ensure their recruitment needs are being met or exceeded.
• Provid e transparency on success metrics and data from the TA team to Deluxe leadership. Using data to drive the narrative of recruiting activity, opportunities, risks, and results.
• Be a concierge and VIP service for executive referrals.
• Act as an escalation point for recruitment issues as well as day-to-day matters.
• Ensur e T A team understand s and deliver s against Deluxe recruitment priorities and exceed set benchmarks on hiring manager satisfaction and candidate experience at the company level.
• Creat e and roll
out innovative hiring programs to attract talent in highly competitive markets and regions and developing long-term strategies to increase the employment brand.
• Champio n and communica te culture, opportunit ies as the group continues to grow and scale.
• Lead and driv e diversity & inclusion recruitment efforts, including refining Deluxe D&I recruitment strategy, initiatives, and metrics.
• Undertake a complete review of job descriptions, partner with the business to rewrite them to maximize accuracy, inclusivity, and attractiveness. Establishing a process to ensure fresh writing standards are maintained.
• Operat e as a hands-on troubleshooter and consultant. An intrapreneur who can identify challenges and lean in to help wherever needed.
• Participate in our company's strategic planning regarding employee development and engagement
• Research and recommend new sourcing tools and recruiting software ( e.g., ATS)

• Proven work experience as a VP of Talent Acquisition or similar senior-level TA leadership position
• Hands-on experience with candidate sourcing, interviewing and evaluation
• Solid knowledge of labor and employment legislation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• An ability to be resilient, manage change and stay enthusiastic
• Proven problem solver with multi-market experience, using a consultative approach to deliver happiness and joy to hiring managers, candidates, and TA colleagues alike.
• Reliable, responsive, and organized, prioritizes ruthlessly
• Ability to influence and partner with distinct levels of the organization to achieve results
• Strong business and HR acumen, including problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and analysis
• Demonstrated ability to apply strategic thinking yet focused on execution and can dip into tactical work when required
• Strong knowledge of current trends, innovations, and best practices in talent acquisition
