Description of Position

As a Trainer, you bring a passion for training, learning, and collaboration, to ensure team members across the Localization and Fulfillment businesses have impactful, engaging, and memorable learning experiences.

You are instrumental in delivering training experiences in a variety of formats, for a global, branded, Training Program. Topics can include everything from soft skills, to refreshers on process, to new or existing technology, and beyond. Trainers will primarily focus on an area of expertise (for example, Subtitling or Dubbing), but may be called upon to deliver trainings in other areas based on need and when required.

You will work collaboratively with the Training and Implementation team, and cross-functionally with Technical Operations, Product, Client Services, Production, Subject Matter Experts and others.

Primary Responsibilities
• Plan and schedule training sessions, collaboratively maintain a learning calendar
• Deliver virtual live, pre-recorded and in-person training to a variety of audiences; new hires, experienced employees, etc.
• Deliver training experiences using presentations, documents, breakout rooms, etc.; engage learners with relevant activities or simulations, encouraging active participation and create an open forum for crucial discussions
• Create and maintain a positive and professional learning environment
• Create and maintain Facilitator's Guides
• Assess and evaluate learning through meaningful knowledge-checks, such as quizzes, surveys, etc.  to ensure learning outcomes are met
• Send course evaluation (feedback) questionnaires following training; compile and communicate feedback
• Report on relevant training metrics
• Collaborate cross-functionally with department leads and managers to identify training needs; prioritize and execute accordingly
• Utilize business metrics to identify training needs; prioritize and execute accordingly
• Lead Train-the-Trainer efforts
• Identify cases and suggest improvements where learning material is outdated or needs improvements
• Suggest changes in the structure and method of training in line with industry standards, changing technology
• Build solid cross-functional alliances
• Support the vision and framework for a global, branded, training program
• Embody the company values and drives company culture positively

Experience and Qualifications
• Degree or applicable certification in Education, Communication or related field
• 3+ years of training facilitation experience for a wide range of learners
• Experience in Subtitling or Dubbing workflows, best practices, and industry standards
• Experience facilitating or teaching in an online environment, including Teams, Zoom, Adobe Connect and/or other platforms
• Ability to empathize with learner needs and translate them into engaging training
• Ability to clearly communicate technical workflows and processes to non-technical audiences 
• Ability to engage with and motivate culturally diverse, distributed team
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience with Learning Management Systems
• Intermediate/Advanced proficiency in MS Office
• Adaptability and resiliency to quick changes in priorities, technology, tools and workflow
• Experience in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Knowledge of various software applications used in localization workflows a plus
