Technical Operations, Audio Lead EMEA

As Technical Operations Audio Lead, you will be instrumental in the implementation of the team's mission to build and maintain a supportive environment for new and existing users of Deluxe's technology. In this role, your primary focus will be the support of our cloud-based audio and dubbing tools, platform release activities, including, but not limited to, translating business requirements into software solutions, oversee user acceptance testing, creation of end-user documentation, delivery of releases, training sessions and onboarding support for the Deluxe Localization and Fulfillment community. You will work with Product Owners, Software Developers, Training and Implementation, Subject Matter Experts, and Individual Users to ensure software solutions are properly tested, validated and deployed to meet business objectives, workflow automation and a positive end-user experience.

Primary Responsibilities
• Lead technical on-boarding and implementation initiatives for client and data and asset management configurations on the platform(s) which drive the automation of end-to-end processing for audio and dubbing products and workflows
• Lead and support recording sessions and training sessions for a culturally diverse, global audience
• Evaluate end-user feedback and participate in product design discussions and software testing and development to streamline and improve our cloud-based audio and dubbing toolsets, outputs and workflow automation
• Support the release schedule for both major and minor features to ensure successful release from Product hand-off all the way through to Individual End-Users
• Ensure proper planning and execution of UAT
• Conduct regular release related meetings and follow-ups, including go-no-go reviews for UAT and live production
• Oversee the creation and updates of release processes or associated documentation, including checklists, deployment calendars and end-user documentation
• Ensure test environments on the platform and associated test-case scenarios are properly defined, documented, configured and ready for UAT
• Support the reporting and triage of defects and issues to Product and Software Developers during pre-release activities and post-deployment
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation to meet product release dates and end-user deliverables
• Write, format, edit, review, and proof procedural and technical information for technical and non-technical users
• Contribute to documenting standards, including participating in peer editing
• Oversee the lifecycle of technical documentation including draft, review, and publish phases
• Responsible for updating and reporting configuration issues by communicating via creating or updating incidents and email advisements, this involves problem-solving through precise documentation and effective follow-up
• Provide timely, accurate, professional and responsive support, verbally and via email, to internal and external customer/clients to resolve all issues reported and take proactive steps to prevent the conflict/problem from reoccurring
• Ability to generate required reports from the system as well as read and utilize information
• Provide feedback and suggestions to management for improved client and end-user satisfaction, process improvements and system enhancements
• Support the relationship with the production leads and regional technology and support teams to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure releases are appropriately documented and communicated to affected stakeholders

Qualifications, Experience and Key Competencies:
• Bachelor's Degree in Audio Engineering, Production or Post Production Studies or applicable equivalent experience
• Experience in recording voice talent for ADR, voice over or dubbing projects
• Global business insight with theoretical and practical knowledge of audio post-production workflow best practices and industry standards
• Strong working knowledge of Pro Tools is required. Good working knowledge and experience with other digital audio workstation solutions and their various application in the recording, editing and production of audio projects is recommended
• Strong understanding of audio/video file formats (IMF, UHD, HD, SD, Proxies, .MOV, .MP4, etc.), standards conversions and electronic delivery technologies (S3, Aspera)
• Understanding of software development life cycle and Agile methodologies
• Understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Experience with source control systems and workflow tools-- JIRA/Confluence, Git
• Ability to create and edit technical documentation as it relates to software design, implementation and end user experience
• Must have ability to make sound judgments when dealing with issues that arise during troubleshooting and have the skills to determine the appropriate action to be taken for a given situation; must be able to prioritize instantly to prevent missed deadlines
• Excellent customer-service skills with an ability to properly identify and assess needs and provide effective and impactful solutions
• Ability to clearly communicate technical or non-technical information according to the audience
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with an ability to engage with a culturally diverse, global team
• Ability to apply critical thinking and root cause analysis
• Adaptability and resiliency to quick changes in priorities, technology, tools and workflows
• Ability to manage complex projects and tasks
• Ability to identify risks and effectively manage activities to mitigate them
• Demonstrated leadership skills
