Sustainability Co-ordinator (Fixed Term)

Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated environmental enthusiast to join us for a fixed term 6 month period working across our global business on corporate sustainability initiatives.

This role supports the Director of Sustainability, Culture and Engagement in the delivery of the global sustainability strategy, which includes projects to research and help define the company Scope 3 emissions, roll out of a supply chain sustainability assessment programme, develop responsible waste policies and work across regions in support of facility efficiency plans.

This person will also get involved with broader company engagement efforts including our partnership with RISE, an advocacy programme for gender diversity in the media technology business.

Main Duties
• Support management of Deluxe impact metrics, including energy, water, waste, and education
• Assist in the roll out of a supply chain assessment programme and Scope 3 calculation for the global business
• Research best practices and support ongoing development of company sustainability strategy
• Support preparation of materials and presentation slide decks for leadership and client proposals for Purpose by Deluxe
• Work closely with Deluxe's employee resource group (ERG) for Sustainability
• Collaborate with industry organizations on cross sector initiatives
• Coordinate new activities and projects across departments and global regions towards company sustainability goals

What You Bring

• Keen interest in corporate sustainability
• Preferred formal education or training in sustainability
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Self-starter who can work independently in a dynamic work environment
• Comfortable collaborating with new teams
• Experience or training in environmental sustainability
• Ability to work with data and spreadsheets
• Self motivated
• Strong eye for detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
