Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer – Technical Lead

Work Location

Burbank, California. May work from home within normal commuting distance of the Burbank, California office.

Main Duties

Lead and coordinate the development of innovative solutions within a cloud-based Enterprise Localization platform; perform cross-system design in collaboration with other Tech Leads; manage, design and participate in multiple front-end and server-side software development projects; take the lead on solving and implementing difficult technology challenges and drive a team to successful delivery of project results; ensure long-term software quality, scalability and maintainability; ensure that a team of software engineers follows software development best practices on topics such as code structure, automated testing, and documentation; perform advanced programming based on extensive knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns, high speed data processing and video processing; supervise five (5) software engineers.

What You Bring
• Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related field
• 4 years of experience as an Engineer or Developer in software localization.
• Experience must include: PHP7, Laravel, JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux, SQL and NoSQL; distributed computing, micro-services, containerization and Docker; Amazon Web Services, DevOps practices, and serverless computing; video formats and codecs; video streaming in the cloud; and digital rights management (DRM) and watermarking security systems.
