Position Summary

Deluxe Media leads the advertising and entertainment industries with innovative supply chain solutions that help market, enrich, and enable media distribution to all platforms and all consumers throughout the world.
Our clients include the major Hollywood studios as well as a growing number of on-line retailers.

Candidates must be experienced in portal specific compliance and linear Quality Control (QC) for file and tape based content. This position is located in Burbank, CA.

Main Duties
• Work closely with QC operators to ensure successful servicing
• Maintain collaborative relationship with all teams to maintain process execution at best level
• Possess thorough understanding and working knowledge of the main systems used daily; Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other web-based programs (DL3, HAL, ONE).
• Provide timely accurate, professional and responsive support, verbally and via email, to internal and external customer/clients to assist in resolving all issues reported and take proactive steps to prevent the conflict/problem from reoccurring.
• Ability to generate required reports from the Deluxe systems as well as read and interpret information.
• Build solid and collaborative relationships with team members while fostering a productive teamwork environment.
• Assist in deploying efficient scheduling processes, technical aids and other time saving practices to decrease non-value-added work.
• Manage 24-hour escalation priority requests
• Work with all operation team members to ensure that completion times are accurately estimated, communicated, executed and final deliveries are delivered on time per client specification for high profile requests.
• Individual must efficiently utilize various audio and video production tools (software, decoders, converters, pre-processing systems, etc.) for problem resolution and troubleshooting assistance.
• Individual must utilize sound audible and visual judgment during the possible need for lead level decision.
• Ensure work assignments, their status and disposition are timely and accurately recorded in operations systems.
• Must effectively analyze and communicate information to resolve issues and concerns as they arise.
• Ensure when issues arise that proper escalation is followed.
• Experience with multiple file format wrappers and codecs
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring
• 1-3 years production experience in the entertainment industry.
• Individual must possess a fundamental understanding of audio, video, film.
• Individual must be able to troubleshoot quality control issues, software and player anomalies.
• Individual must effectively utilize various audio and video production tools
• Individual must be organized, diligent and detail oriented.
• Individual must possess solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Individual must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment with hard deadlines.
• Individual will need to make frequent ''subjective'' decisions as part of their daily function (e.g., determining the ''severity rating'' for quality defects, determining which defects are acceptable, etc.).
• Individual must be willing to work nights and weekends.
