Product Manager
Position: Product Manager, (Localization platform)
BU: Innovation || Reports to: Senior PO/Director, Localization
Shift: Afternoon shift (12 noon to 9PM), but willingness to adjust schedule to work late and take calls and attend meetings as needed
Job Description: As Product Manager for Sfera, Deluxe's localization platform, you will be part of a global team that manages the subtitling and localization products and services, driving feature development and iterations in this area to support the overall business strategy for Deluxe. You are the liaison between customers (i.e. Production teams and Operational stakeholders) and internal engineering team and technical PMs to build features and enhance Deluxe technology with the goal of making the platform state-of-the art, automated, efficient and scalable.
Responsibilities:
• Product lifecycle management from conceptualization to phased implementation of the platform features.
• Involved in requirements gathering when scoping new features or enhancements, to ensure all use cases are covered and acceptance criteria is clearly set.
• Aid in test plans and QA testing.
• Ensure post-release implementation is smooth and documentation is updated as needed.
• Provide product communication to various internal Deluxe teams as needed.
• Participate in sprint planning and other scrum ceremonies along with product owner and team.
• Keeping JIRA, Wiki and other communication and PM tools updated and using the same to pull regular reports and metrics.
• Managing the user acceptance testing and implementation process as needed.
Requirements:
• In-depth / end-to-end understanding of Subtitling and Localization domain
• Knowledge of Scrum methodology and Project management, any certifications in Scrum, Agile or PMP is a plus.
• Experience in product development is a plus.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and aptitude to do in-depth research on nuances of workflow and use cases.
• Has been involved in product testing, UAT, technical process improvements as part of previous roles.
• Good written and oral communication skills, ownership of work and proactiveness.
• Experience in managing and/or mentoring junior team members

• Technically savvy and understands and follows latest technological developments in the domain
• Works independently and with minimal supervision
• A keen eye for detail and general curiosity to know and understand the platform details, and willingness to constantly improve it when opportunities are available.
• Ability to think out of the box to solve problems and design new features.
• Good team player and good organizational skills.
• Flexible with work hours, able to extend when urgent issues impacting Ops/production crop up until issues are fixed and platform is stabilized, especially when big releases are planned.
