We currently have an opening for an Onboarding Engineer, EMEA. This position will be located in London, UK.

Position Overview

The Technical Onboarding team within the Localisation & Fulfillment organisation in EMEA will be primarily responsible for creating, maintaining and migrating technical profiles to support Deluxe Customers and working closely with technology, development and platforms teams across the business. The position will analyze customer content fulfillment requirements and translate them into system orchestrated automated workflows. The role will initially focus on the former Sony NMS business platforms DBB & Venue, but will over time expand to include Deluxe One and Sfera too.

It is intended that a full follow-the-sun model can eventually be implemented between the EMEA and North America Deluxe locations with full sharing of onboarding request queues. At this point the scope of the role and the wider EMEA onboarding team would include all Deluxe platforms.

The Onboarding Engineer will leverage their experience of media and technology in video, audio, subtitles and delivery as a key member of the team. This position is based out of London, UK.

Primary Responsibilities
• Make a positive, proactive and professional contribution to the onboarding engineering team who are responsible for onboarding client profiles to enable service delivery
• Establish and maintain an effective relationship with the key production and transmission technology support teams
• Become knowledgeable on all Deluxe Platforms
• Support project work where platforms are being migrated/decommissioned to proprietary platforms
• Provide timely, accurate, professional, and responsive support, verbally and via email, to internal and external Customers/Clients to resolve all issues reported and take proactive steps to prevent the conflict/problem from reoccurring
• Support Customer initiatives for additional workflows including, but not limited to, title and asset ingest, profile configuration, & order/avail management
• Interface with end users from various internal and external groups to ensure on-boarding of fulfillment workflows to the Deluxe platforms
• Responsible for updating and reporting configuration issues by communicating via creating or updating incidents and email advisements, this involves problem solving through precise documentation and effective follow up
• Must have ability to make sound judgments when dealing with issues that arise during troubleshooting and have the skills to determine the appropriate action to be taken for a given situation; must be able to prioritize quickly to prevent missed deadlines
• Provide feedback and suggestions to management for improved customer satisfaction, process improvements and system enhancements

Qualifications
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate degree or above preferred
• 5+ years in media industry, post-production and/or digital workflows required.
• Thorough technical understanding of video, audio, subtitle, metadata and delivery specifications.
• Preferred experience with Telestream Vantage, Aspera, Signiant, Hybrik as well as exposure to Amazon Web Services.
• Good understanding of content fulfilment, digital workflows, asset and data management systems/platforms.
• Experience with Rhozet Carbon Coder and Digital Rapids/ SelenioFlex File would also be an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Excellent teamwork, written and verbal communication skills.
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, ability to maintain professionalism in a high stress situation, and project self as a team player.
