Position Title

Manager, Process Improvement

Position Summary

The Manager, Process Improvement will work with the Cinema Client Service teams and Product Owners to identify operations gaps to improve processes and improve workflow. This position requires a highly motivated individual with attention to details and a hunger to learn and solve problems.

Main Duties
Order Entry Accuracy
• Work with Client Service (CS) teams to ensure WO's are understood and input with accuracy.
• Work with Project Management (PM) to identify WO issues and use real time data to coach teams on best practices.
• Work with CS to help templatize their workflows that can be used across global facilities.
Order Entry System Enhancement
• Work with CS and Product Owners (PO) to identify enhancements to improve workflow.
• Work with OPS teams to identify training gaps within the system and implement process improvements to eliminate waste improve efficiency.
Overall Cinema Knowledge
• Work with current and new employees to teach the digital cinema workflow.
• Coach current and new employees (CS, PM) on operating systems.
• Create a training program for new hires.
• Create ''refresher'' training courses for CS teams.
• Educate teams on WO entry and how those instructions are used downstream by OPS.

Continuous Improvement
• Identify operations gaps and implement process improvement.
• Work with OPS and PO's to implement new workflows built around automation.
• On board and test new workflows/enhancements to ensure viability in a live atmosphere.
• Attend industry standards meetings to ensure Deluxe compliance.
• Map out client workflows and look for areas to standardize workflows across clients and global facilities.
• Review File/Asset Management workflows and document areas for improvement.

DFX Process/Integration
• Work with DFX OPS team to identify gaps and implement change for increased efficiency.
• Work with Cinema OPS and DFX OPS to improve workflow between departments.
• Create a training program for new hires that outlines our systems and how they operate.
• Identify system deficiencies and work with the Dev team to create enhanced features.

What You Bring
• BA or BS degree preferred.
• 3-4 years' experience working with clients in the entertainment industry; traditional post production background helpful.
• Solid technical understanding of the distribution industry helpful.
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to juggle multiple priorities and solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Must be proficient with word processing, excel spreadsheet, inventory, internet, order processing, project management, and database software.
• Must be flexible to work extended hours and / or weekends to meet project deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
