Position Title

Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst

Position Summary

The HRIS Analyst applies a broad knowledge of Workday coupled with fundamental HR operational knowledge to help create data driven solutions that affect business outcomes and to provide an optimal user experience. In this role, the HRIS Analyst will assess and document business needs, implement configuration changes, assist with change management and become one of our Workday configuration subject matter experts.

The HRIS Analyst is also responsible to use analytical skills to identify areas of improvement as it relates to these systems with an eye on the end-user experience. This role interfaces between the various lines of business and Human Resources. This position is based in Burbank, California or a remote-based position.

Main Duties
• Takes ownership of assigned modules to develop a deep understanding of current state of configuration and research upcoming enhancements, especially during the R1 and R2 upgrade cycles.
• Becomes the technical subject-matter expert to provide optimal use of Workday throughout North America, EMEA, an APAC.
• Monitors daily HR integrations including ones to third party payroll vendors and resolves issues in a timely manner.
• Performs Workday to ADP data reconciliations for the USA and Canada and others as needed
• Develops the ability to create and utilize complex reports to analyze data and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Provide exceptional internal customer service while closing tickets including root cause analysis and remedies (system and/or training).
• Consistently reviews upcoming changes, makes recommendations, documents, and configures changes and other system enhancements, participates in UAT, maintains system documentation and Quick Reference Guides.
• Active collaboration within the HRIS team to prioritize projects and duties.
• Provides Workday training and guidance as needed.

What You Bring
• A hunger to learn, be an agent of change, and willingness to support colleagues in different time zones when needed.
• Bachelor's in Human Resources, Computer Science, Technical / Analytical field, or related field (A combination of education and experience may be considered).
• Minimum two years' experience in HRIS administration.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with emphasis on Excel.
• Previous experience managing confidential data required.
• Experience with an implementation of Workday or other ERPs HR, and ADP Payroll a plus.
Other Skills
• Fundamental HR Knowledge or systems, principles and practices of managing sensitive data, a general understanding of compensation and an understanding on how local/state/federal employment laws impact data governance.
• Strong self-management coupled with work prioritization.
• Data and root cause analysis
• Explaining system processes to non-system experts.
