General Manager - Taiwan

Are you a passionate leader looking for the next step in your career in the media industry? Deluxe has an exciting opportunity to establish a new operation in Taiwan.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage Deluxe's business and operations in Taiwan while supporting the hiring and development of all employees in Taiwan.
• Build and maintain close relationship with global cross-functional leaders including Client Services, Production, Mastering & Fulfillment, Product and Technology, Finance & Accounting, Legal, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition
• Provide and ensure customer satisfaction of all projects that are managed in Taiwan and align closely with production team to create the aimed result
• Support the establishment and management of facility and operation in Taiwan including the support of identification of facility locations, lease negotiation, and other necessary operational set up
• Support establishing pricing and cost structure for Taiwanese language production and ensure the on-ground operation and the annual goals are met.
• Help building close relationships with translation community in Taiwan and support discovering high tier collaborators for our client projects
• Support building region specific production and project workflow and find ways to create scalability and efficiency.

Experience, Qualifications & Key Competencies:
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Speaking in Mandarin and writing in both Simplified and Traditional Chinese is a must
• Experience working in a leadership position and managing people in leadership roles and across multiple teams
• Understand project management and E2E services/processes
• Experience working with executive clients from major studios and companies
• Understanding of business administration and finance
• Understanding of Mandarin speaking culture and media industry
