Fulfillment Specialist

Position Overview

This position is responsible for providing the technical input to successfully and effectively design and implement media solutions for our clients.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Perform video editing, transcoding, packaging, QC and delivery as determined by client requirements
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Responsible to ensure high quality services are released on behalf of clients, as well as provide QC service
• Train new staff when required
• Document and design production workflows
• Perform all QC requirements including video and audio
• Systems support
• Communicate and collaborate with management from other departments
• Attend client meetings offering support for sales and client services
• Monitor performance and KPI's
• Actively monitor project risks to foresee problems and proactively identify solutions to rectify
• Analyse and monitor production workflows to identify problems and recommend solutions that will improve performance
• Establish and monitor automation workflows
• Provide simplified explanations of technical workflows, procedures and definitions
• Willing to travel as required. Domestic and Internationally
• Other related technical/administrative tasks

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill-set:
• Previous experience in a media operations environment or similar role
• Solid technical understanding of the television and film distribution industry
• Demonstrated knowledge of major media software and hardware including Adobe CC, Clipster & Transkoder
• Demonstrated ability to develop new procedures and processes
• Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
• Strong understanding of video codecs, formats, frame rates etc.
• Strong understanding of Mac, Linux and Windows operating systems
• Knowledge of basic command line operations
• VTR knowledge of current and redundant formats is favourable
• • Outstanding Communication skills – written and oral

• Ability to work well in a small team and independently
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Medium level understanding of data management and workflows
• Ability to explain in depth technical solutions to clients
• Professionalism, confidentiality and diplomacy
• Strong customer service
• Strong problem-solving ability and technical understanding to carry out detailed and involved written, diagrammatic and/or verbal instructions
• Ability to remain calm under tight deadlines
• Demonstrated experience in managing multiple tasks with conflicting priorities.
