Position Title
Data I/O Manager
The Data I/O Manager for Deluxe Cinema Data department is responsible for all Data I/O and Data Archive operations. They ensure that the department efficiently contributes to the smooth flow of production operations, meets required timelines and is compliant with all security protocols.
Main Duties
The Data I/O Manager also works in cooperation with other departments for equipment, technology and workflow maintenance and development is key. Supervision of staff, troubleshooting and upper management tasks will be required.
A Day in the Life of this position involves:
• Manage the Data operations personnel
• Coordinate all shift schedules to ensure adequate operator coverage 24x7x365
• Partner with Engineering to coordinate system downtime and maintenance
• Communicate and collaborate with management from other departments
• Report and advise upper management on issues or potential improvements
• Attend various inter-departmental meetings and pass pertinent information to data management/operations
• Perform workflow assessment before deployment
• Produce high-quality documentation and provide training for all new software, procedures, and workflows
• Collaborate with department leads both globally and locally to implement new workflows
• Ensure all security protocols are followed by Data operations
• Ensure the SAN is maintained and all data is properly archived
• Ensure 100% accuracy for all deliveries
What You Bring
• Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in High Pressure situations (Deadlines/High Profile client interaction…)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate leadership ability
• Knowledge of Digital Cinema workflows and standards
• Experience with Database layout and functions
• Provide internal technical support and respond to business regarding technical questions, provide critical thinking to solve and prevent problems
• Experience with Data workflows and standards
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Digital Cinema Production
• One (1) to two (2) years of experience in program management and customer service
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College/University or equivalent professional experience
