Position Summary
The Billing Clerk will be assisting in and be responsible for preparing/processing billing transactions and invoices and helping to resolve customer disputes.
Main Duties
• Read, prepare and process work orders for Digital Cinema billing
• Prepare/input Digital Cinema billings into SAP
• Interface with operations, sales, account managers and clients as needed to gather information, research disputed transactions and resolve discrepancies
• Review invoices to make sure the proper services, rates, hours and PO were used
• Review completed jobs to ensure that line item charges are correct
• Process accurate daily/weekly and monthly billings in a timely manner.
• Prepare invoices for clients.
• Generate credit/rebill invoices as needed
• Resolve and research client disputes and inquiries
• Support the Finance department as needed
• Review open billing reports and follow-up with account managers to drive billing throughout the month
• Perform special projects and prepare ad hoc analyses as requested by management
What You Bring
• Data input experience using SAP accounting software
• Operations knowledge of billing and invoicing processes using multiple rate cards and contracts
• Ability to multi-task while paying close attention to details
• Demonstrated history of exercising a proactive approach with good follow-up skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Background and experience in Post Production industry a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) required, including advanced Excel skills, especially Vlookup functionality and pivot table experience
• Solid communication (written and verbal) skills
• Ability and willingness to interact effectively with different multiple personalities and styles, within and outside the department
• Organized and detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and plan well in order to meet deadlines, without hesitancy to ask for direction or assistance/guidance from supervisors
• Comfortable working in a demanding fast-paced environment, taking on new tasks, handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a deadline driven department
