Account Director – Social Media (Trailer Team)

Position Summary

We currently have an opening for an exciting new role within our Cinema Trailer Team. As part of the growing Marketing Services team, this Account Director role is primarily responsible for project managing the online launch of high-profile online trailer campaigns - through Deluxe's bespoke campaign management platform (Direct to Debut - D2D). The AD reports directly to the Director of Marketing Services, while working closely with the rest of the Direct to Debut / Social Media team and the various Account leads and coordinators.

About the Team

The Marketing Services Team is comprised of dedicated and enthusiastic individuals, with a passion for trailers and online marketing campaigns. Designed to bring together the experience, knowledge, and best practices gained from working with most major studios, the Marketing Services Team delivers over 60 campaigns a year to markets across EMEA, LATAM and APAC. New additions to the team ideally are passionate about the power of a good trailer, great team-players, and ready for a fast paced, ever changing area to grow and develop in.

Main Duties

Working closely with the studio specific account teams, it is the AD's responsibility to gather and consolidate information relevant to an online launch, using this to create, monitor, and ultimately deliver large scale online trailer campaigns using the D2D platform. While ensuring that projects are tracked, organized, and delivered on schedule (to the highest standards). This role includes the responsibility of collecting territory metadata, QC'ing content, and uploading final files to social media sites at launch time, including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok (coming soon) - and likely more as the service continues to grow.

The role is a complex one, involving coordinating campaigns with all members of the Marketing Services team and studio clients (both Tech Ops & Marketing), along with a wide range of Deluxe operational departments, including Content Services, DFX, Data Operations, and DCin Trailers and Promo Mastering – alongside the respective client teams in LA, London, Sydney, and Madrid.

A Day in the Life of this role would include the following:
• Creating, monitoring, and taking responsibility for the progress of online marketing campaigns within the Deluxe D2D platform
• This includes uploading final files to social media at the time of debut, and providing the associated client support afterwards
• Gathering and checking client information – particularly relating to territory orders and content metadata
• Communicating with various client contacts to ensure that all information is up to date and online strategies are followed
• Providing troubleshooting assistance when needed – particularly for the D2D platform/product
• Supporting and guiding client users to effectively use the platform, and resolving any issues they have directly, or with the development team
• Assisting and working alongside the trailer mastering teams to ensure all assets are ready and correct in time for a campaign
• This includes creating, tracking, and maintaining project orders in relevant scheduling and tracking software.
• Learning, understanding, and adhering to DDC trailer and marketing workflows and procedures, as well as new technologies relating to Digital Cinema and social media platforms/content/marketing
• Costing and billing of completed work, including liaising with client to resolve any queries, to ensure prompt payment
• Collaborating with the Head of Campaign Services and the global Directors within Marketing Services to research and develop new features and functionality to integrate into our platform

What You Bring
• Experience working effectively in a fast-paced team environment managing high volumes of orders without error
• A strong understanding of the various social media/video platforms and how they operate (Facebook Business Manager, Tweetdeck)
• Experience with workflows in multiple locations across multiple time zones.
• Must be highly organized and able to work independently within own process
• Proven ability to design processes from the ground up to support an evolving business need
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form
• Must be able to effectively document all processes, designs, and data flows
• Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities is a must
• Ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines
• Ability to listen and engage different cultures and perspectives
• Positive, service-oriented personality
• Ability to learn and process information quickly is a plus
• Must be flexible to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Qualifications
• BA or BS degree preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in the entertainment industry; traditional post-production background helpful
• Specific experience in any of the following areas is a bonus: social media management, social media publishing, data analytics, subtitling, dubbing, graphic localization/design, content mastering and fulfilment
• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be able to juggle multiple priorities
• Must be proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet, order processing, project management, and database software
