The Job

CNN+ is looking for a driven, highly organized individual who thrives in a fast paced, test-and-learn environment to join the Growth Marketing Operations team. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Growth Marketing Operations, the Sr. Manager will oversee and manage cross-functional workflows to ensure digital marketing campaigns are planned, briefed, tested, tracked, approved, and delivered efficiently, on time and on budget. They will oversee coordination with our creative and media agencies, channel leads, product, design, creative marketing, campaign planning, editorial, central operating center, senior leadership and other stakeholders and teams to ensure campaigns are launched successfully while following a clear and efficient process. The Sr. Manager will collaborate closely with Operations leadership to identify, document, and improve the efficiency of our campaigns and cross-functional communications.

The Daily
• Work with cross-functional teams to oversee and manage execution plans for marketing campaigns, primarily focusing on the acquisition team (paid digital and social media).
• Manage the full lifecycle of individual Growth Marketing campaigns and deliverables, ensuring projects are on track and assets are consistent.
• Develop contextual, actionable timelines and gather and communicate SLAs across internal and external teams, partnering with relevant cross-functional teams on aligning around milestones and paths to successful execution.
• Facilitate internal and external stand-ups and other meetings, create agendas, document meeting minutes, and track action items.
• Facilitate strategic and creative cross-functional reviews and approvals with internal and external vendors and partners.
• Partner with teams (internal and external) to ensure that the final project deliverables meet business/strategic objectives and creative goals.
• Communicate project deliverables, status, milestones, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Monitor and report project and team progress on a regular basis, maintaining and tracking status using project management tools.
• Actively search and identify opportunities for process improvements to work better, faster, and smoother.
• Actively monitor health of campaign processes and mitigate or flag issues to internal teams and partners.
• Work cross-functionally on billing and payment processes in collaboration with operations leadership and finance teams.

The Essentials
• 6-9 years of experience in a marketing operations role or project management within an advertising/marketing organization or agency.
• Expertise in digital media campaigns and landscape (search, social, programmatic, direct buys).
• Previous people management experience and strong leadership skills.
• Biased toward thoughtful action, with strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable with ambiguity.
• Exceptional strategic project management skills with a focus on deliverables, oversight, quality, and timelines.
• Able to manage complex projects and programs in a rapidly changing environment, while staying calm under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Skilled diplomat with track record of working across multiple teams and disciplines.
• Knowledge of various project management methodologies, including Agile and waterfall, required.
• Experience with project management tools such as Monday, Asana, or Airtable required.
• Experience with budgeting and billing a plus.
• Experience with standing up and administering digital asset management tools a plus.
