Job Description
Your New Role...

We are looking for an Analyst who will be responsible for generating sales reports to support the needs of the sales team and ensure they have the current sales information available. This is an instrumental role within CNN International Commercial Strategic Planning.

The Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining underlying Sales data supporting the regular and ad-hoc reports.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Provide sales reporting to communicate sales performance to Senior Management. Responsible for working directly with efforts sales teams across multiple international markets to quantify weekly / monthly / quarterly / yearly performances relative to budgets and targets.
• Produce ad-hoc management reports. The reports can range from pricing and inventory, management to category and client detail revenue, and entail working with revenue and traffic databases to sift through data, analyse and eventually extract and synthesise key relevant information.
• Process and Reporting Improvement. Identify areas of reporting efficiency and propose structured recommendations to management.

Areas of Accountability

While the position has no direct revenue accountability, it does interface directly with sales offices worldwide. In addition, the position is integral to managing digital advertising revenue across a large portfolio of websites.

Qualifications & Experience...
• Accounting/Finance related degree; CIMA or ACA qualified
• Advanced Excel skills as well as Access database skills and familiarity with reporting systems
• Excellent data analysis, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple projects, ability to prioritize, meet deadlines
• Proactive
• Relevant, 3+ years' experience at media agency, media owner
• Preferable experience with digital media agency, digital media owner
• Direct Sales experience
• Business partner experience
• Knowledge of online research tools
