Job Description
The Job

The purpose of this job is to strategically schedule on-air promotions on CNN and HLN networks. This position works closely with promo placement management, Sales Operations, and Master Control.

The Daily
• Works closely with Promo Placement management team to ensure the daily execution of Network marketing priorities inside commercial breaks
• Ensures all Ad Sales and sponsorships are scheduled per commitment
• Responsible for performing daily log reconciliation
• May be responsible for formatting daily promo content grids for producers/editors as needed

The Essentials (aka knowledge and skills section)
• • Working knowledge of scheduling systems (Crossroad & SHOPS) preferred, or is easily adaptable to these types of electronic promo placement databases.

The Nice to Haves (this section is optional)
• Prior experience as a marketing supervisor or linear promotion placement in cable television.
