Production Coordinator, Longform (CNN+)

We are seeking a Production Coordinator to join the team that will create premium longform content exclusively for CNN+. This is an ambitious and exciting new unit within CNN that requires individuals looking to gain experience producing premium longform feature content. The Production Coordinator will support the Executive Producer, Senior Production Manager and the Senior Staff as they manage the content emerging from this group.

The Daily
• This role requires a strong communicator and highly organized individual who is looking for experience working in all aspects of editorial and production management
• The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-based, collaborative and dynamic environment and is capable of creating and managing organized systems, maintaining schedules and workflows, while meeting aggressive deadlines.
• This position reports directly to the Senior Operations Manager, but will provide administrative and process support to senior leadership as assigned.
• This person should lean into the creative, and be adept at creating and editing presentations and decks via powerpoint, keynote, etc.
• This individual will be called on to support specific projects editorially as needed, along with maintaining organized schedules and travel for all productions.
• There may be light travel, as Production Coordinators could be asked to support shoots in the field.
• Candidates will be asked to transcribe drafts of compelling interview descrions, guest bios, and headlines, and support research packets assigned by producers and the senior leadership team.
• Ideal candidates will help manage workflows, calendars, and team communications
• Production Assistants should be prepared to pitch stories, characters, and experts.
• Candidates will be asked to develop, produce and edit content to be posted on social media.
