WarnerMedia seeks a Bookings Coordinator for the CNN Network Booking department.

The Daily

The Bookings Coordinator position for Network Booking will be responsible for pitching, generating, and booking guests for all our Domestic platforms, digital platforms and networks as needed under the direction of the Senior Director. This person will assist the Senior Director and Editorial Producers in all aspects of responding to breaking news, researching potential voices and story lines, booking and securing transportation as needed. They will also be responsible for updating and curating various databases to keep us organized and track progress on long term and short-term booking assignments. The Bookings Coordinator will keep the Senior Director's calendar updated daily with scheduling, confirmed interviews with newsmakers and book authors, as well as handle special projects as assigned. This position supports a 24/7 business so this individual must remain flexible to meet the needs of this fast paced, every changing landscape.

The Essentials
• Bachelor's degree. A degree in journalism or related field of study is preferred
• One-year experience in the news business with some production or equivalent production experience.
• Research skills are essential to this position.
• This position requires a highly organizational individual who is always looking for new ways to execute projects and keep the group organized implementing new technology or software
• Must be able to juggle many tasks at once, execute quickly, think broadly, and have strong editorial awareness and judgment.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills are essential to this role.
• Knowledge of current events, key players, politics and issues in global affairs is a must
